Combination of #1 & #2... I think this is what is killing the sport. Parents are scared to let their son play because of safety concerns due to negative information on the safety of the game and the crazy expectations that are being placed on Coaches. A lot of them are getting out because of it.

Well, he has asked about the job...not sure he has applied for the job or even if he going to at all...but I think he would be a home run hire if he applies and gets it. He has a ton of HFC experience....players love playing for him....and he is known for his defense.

Heard a big name is interested in this school....JH would be lucky to get him if he decides to apply.

I don't know why but the pitch has always captivated me...I'd love to catch a high school game where it is being thrown as a primary pitch. I have watched a few minor league (Gamboa) and major league games (RA Dickey). I wonder if a player who threw this pitch as a primary pitch would actually get recruited as a knuckleball pitcher. I've never heard of one. Doesn't mean it hasn't happened though.

Any team have a knuckleballer in their rotation? If so how are they doing? I have been interested to see if there has been more players to throw the pitch or is the pitch dying out?

I heard they went with Shawn Hager...old HFC from Sheldon Clark. I think he was an assistant at Prestonsburg last year.

I love seeing our state colleges recruiting instate and signing them. Huge step for the state of Kentucky and our sport of football.

Also...didn't Jovel Smith from Trinity commit to play for Morehead State?

He would Star at a place like Morehead State. I would love to see him latch on somewhere.

I remember when Coach Wolfe (Current Male HFC) at Waggener High School back in the day had a female assistant...not sure if there are any now.

First Congratulations to all these young men for signing a football scholarship...big testiment to them on their abilities. Second...congratulations to EKU for signing 15 of them. I remember not too long ago that EKU signed maybe 1 Kentucky recruit...so kudos to them.
