Any details on Duncan's resume?

Okay...Duncan was the skipper at Murray from 2008-2013 and at Logan County in 2014 and 2015. Not sure where he was last season.

That clarifies which Steve Duncan it was. Hmmmmm.

He did not coach last year. Before Murray he was Defensive Coordinator at Lone Oak. He also had stops at Fort Knox, Larue County and E'town.

Was an assistant at LaRue County in the '90's. I believe he was head coach at Murray and did well. As an aside his son is Zipp Duncan who played for UK.

He then went to LaRue County in '91, and was part of their lone region title team. He stayed at LaRue through the '95 season & then went to Elizabethtown in 1996. He spent his time there both with the high school and middle school programs.

Have always heard good things about Duncan. Seems like a good, steady hand along with a good coach for a Tilghman program that needed both.

I think it's a Great hire especially with the timing of when all the other things in play went down.

Great coach, I just hope he is prepared for the hornets nest he's walking into. GOOD LUCK COACH!!

Duncan brings strong discipline where ever he goes. While at Murray they were 3 yards and a cloud of dust rarely ever threw the ball but loved to let his QB's run. Always had strong line play. On defense they were extremely physical. Upset Caldwell County with Singular when they were #1 and routinely had Murray ranked high in the polls

Maybe he can get things going again for the Blue. It's been along time since we could feel confident going into a tough game. One of the bigger issues at PT has been the lack of player turnout. Back in the day we'd have over a hundred players. One interview with Barber discussed how they barely have 30 guys who can play. Not sure why the guys don't wanna play. The school has lots of history and we were proud to represent the school. Times change I guess.
