  1. Bowling Green. You guys jealous of CCH or what? Where did anyone say CCH was a victim? What does this even have to do with you..........
  2. Woodford was classless, was obvious they haven’t won anything before. Doesn’t make CCH the victim of anything, don’t think anyone claimed it did either. Just pointing out the behavior of Woodford coaches. Is that not allowed??
  3. Is SW a balanced offense? WC sold out to stop the run against CCH, blitzing two inside lb’s nearly every play, and it obviously worked against CCH with their struggles/lack of passing game. 9 guys within 6 yards if LOS at the snap most plays. If SW can run\pass consistently they should be able to move the ball and put up enough points to win the game.
  4. Disagree. Wc better last night no dought. But to say no chance is silly. Cch d did really well in first half against them. Two awful punts of about 20 yards each hurt in addition to the fumble going into the half. Lb's for CCH were exposed big time in the passing game, being asked to cover the wing backs on pass routes was a disaster and never adjusted. WC running game stronger in 2nd half for sure. D on the field all night. Again. Eddie kept calling qb draw all night right into blitzing lb's, never had a shot and refused to try much else until end of game. #41 was really strong for wc!
  5. Slusher also I know. But that's it. Some other good players for sure.
  6. You are on here tearing down Humphreys to build up Cam. Classy! You know Beechwood also plays a week schedule. And Great stats for a college freshman. What'd he do in his true senior year??
  7. That too. Didn't want to shake hands with Cch coaches at end either. Until Eddie and Co forced sorta demanded it.
  8. Find a QB( not a knock on Agee. Kid is a awesome athlete) Commit to doing something other than QB draw 25 times a game.
  9. ? You're right. The 5th year super Senior returning Mr football was not the difference maker in the game! Even if he was 90% of the offense. At that point CCH hadn't figured out the offense either.
  10. Kinda like the stats Hergott puts up for Beechwood and the week schedule they play? Do you discount those too?
  11. Lol. Nothing to do with the losing side! You just run the ball. Run the clock out. When do you see anyone throwing those passes with 90 seconds left and they could literally just run it a few times and run the clock out.
  12. Nothing wrong with winning it! Just idiotic to be throwing 40 yard passes up 14 with 90 seconds left in the game. Why risk getting your players hurt? What’s the point in that.
  13. Woodford blitzed two lb’s nearly every play in the A gaps, yet CCH refused to do anything except run the qb up the middle over and over again. Awful coaching effort to not make adjustments.
  14. The final score is a pretty accurate reflection of the competitiveness of the game. Woodford was definitely better tonight, better game plan by far. CCH did fumble the ball on 1/2 yard line going in to score right before the half, would have made it 14-14 at the half, ended up 14-7 instead at half.
  15. Coach Johnson needs to learn to win with some class. You could tell Woodford hasn’t won anything before. Hope they get smoked next week.
  16. Pretty sure it is a PWO. Congrats Gabe.
  17. I've heard of it being more common in Eastern KY, just not all that common in NKY as you said. Not a big fan of it either way, but to each their own I guess.
  18. What?? Same statement could be made for a ton of good players from other NKY teams. Is Beechwood working on something to get him a redshirt?
  19. Many, yes. As someone with several family members in education locally, it does happen somewhat regularly. If parents are reclassifying their middle schoolers for sports..... what a joke. Get your priorities straight.
  20. All True. I think the primary rub for a lot of people is that while kids obviously reclassified previously prior to high school, it typically was driven by academic reasons or because a kid being underdeveloped going into Kindergarten or 1st grade. Not a teams star athlete choosing to do it to boost college prospects, and then leaving HS once the football season ends, which seems to be somewhat common across the state. The rule is the rule though, so not sense in continuing to beat a dead horse, OR pretending that it doesn't give some schools a big advantage, obviously within the rules.
  21. Obviously a trigger warning is needed on this post for all the Beechwood fans! ?
  22. While fcs is not fbs, it is still D1 and is still rare for HS players to make it to that level. Now Morehead and other Pioneer conference teams are a little different in that they are non scholarship, the rest of fcs is still high level players.
  23. My point with calpreps is more with the score projections being not all that great. I know CCH will be up for the challenge.
  24. Win or lose the teams you are used to competing against week after week really matter when you face tough situations in the playoffs. Regarding calpreps, I don’t really think it’s all that accurate, just my opinion. That being said, CCH will definitely be the best team Woodford has seen this year(likely best coached as well). Woodford will not be that for CCH and I do think that matters.
