So now CCH is playing with Jv kids… that is nuts. What exactly did Benke or Bottom do in either game? Or even Noon for that matter? Dietz and Wilson (Blocking) and also Agee and Hummel running the ball dominated in the last game. I’m not sure what game you were watching. -

That is laughable. If the birds had more talent they wouldn’t have been beat 38-8. Obviously there isn’t a Micheal Mayer, but this CCH team has plenty of talent, short of a the QB position, which I think they are adjusting decently for. It just happens to stand out greatly at the HS level the and has taken most of the year to work out. For example, the O and D line For CCH dominated the game and was just flat out better players. -
I'd be shocked to see Conner win. I can make a little sense in the Cooper upset in the in the first game Conner was missing their starting RB, and then had him back in the mix last week. I believe both Conner and CCH were at full strength 3 weeks ago, so I expect a similar or close to similar result.

One thing that stood out to me for HHS was that they used 3 different kids at QB on the first 3 plays of the game. As I watched I thought it was strange and seemed very gimmicky, and showed a lack of confidence in the game plan before the game even started. I get changing things up as the game goes on if you must, but in the first 3 plays!? Just seemed to send a message that HHS knew they didn't have anything that would work. -

It still is for CCH, players and staff. They still prepare like crazy for every game against the birds, regardless of record or previous outcomes. -

Know if they went for two to go from 74 to 76 points? 😂 -

The same issue will be faced for the next few years by HS players with fewer scholarships available. -

Several of other really deserving guys it could go to this year. I honestly could see Cam being a slot type receiver at the next level before playing QB, with his lateral quickness and explosiveness. At least in terms of seeing the field quickly. -

Hergott is a great player no doubt, it should be given to a legit senior though. -
I think the talk about the CCH D from my perspective is referring to the points allowed/rushing D over the last several games, and, most importantly, the fact that Noon was held to just 84 yards on 25 carries last game. Oh and now there will be a soph QB making his first playoff start. Revised prediction based on new info: CCH 28 Birds 6!!!

I think it comes down to if Eddie is willing to take the risk of trying to get the ball to those playmakers with the inconsistencies they've had at QB. Does he need to do it to win the game? You've got Zion who could be a game breaker, also Sullivan and Wilson at TE with great size, plus Holtz whose got great hands and size. To this point he hasn't trusted the passing game enough to really go for it, and hasn't really needed to in most games.
