  1. MLS' statement is awfully similar to the one they issued after the first meeting in December, where days later they announced Nashville.
  2. Per Jeremy Lance on 700 WLW, MLS Board of Governors will be voting on FCC's bid at today's meeting. This is it, folks. My head says no reason they don't get it. My heart reminds me this is a Cincinnati team we're talking about. It's going to be a long day.
  3. Can anyone give some background on Alice Lloyd College and the area it's in?
  4. Not only did making the tournament/playing Kentucky help them enormously, but the story behind the Norse got people across the nation hooked. A team that just went D1 and makes the tournament in its first year? That's a story I'd get behind.
  5. Besides my Boise State Broncos, in which they lost by 34 (Sorry, this March hasn't been too kind to me) I agree. I want to instantly say Michigan, but Loyola is able to beat anybody.
  6. GCL South doing its thing as the best overall division in high school sports
  7. He’s taking a post grad year and going to a prep school.
  8. Per his Twitter. Doesn’t say where, but he will attend one for a post grad year.
  9. Wow! What a game. Welcome to March, everybody!
  10. Congrats Taveion! Great to see a Kentucky product do well!
  11. Wooo Bonnies! I'm sure Woj is happy!
  12. Yep, but I know BBN travels well no matter where UK plays. Figure I'd make this post because of that!
  13. Ah okay. My initial reaction when I saw the USC vs. UNC-Asheville match-up pop up was "Oh wow that's a long trip"
  14. You're going to have a fantastic time. Boise is a beautiful city with a lot of cool things to do. I recommend visiting Big Al's, it's a really cool sports restaurant with a bowling alley, arcade and of course... tons of TVs to watch basketball. Taco Bell Arena is a neat place to watch a game, too. Yes, Boise is kind of (really) far from Kentucky, but for those still making the trip - you won't regret it!
  15. Kentucky, UNC, Villanova and Kansas.
  16. Come on now, it's not like NKU got robbed on a higher seed. As for the "regional" match-up, UNC-Asheville plays Southern California. If my geography is correct, those two schools aren't close... Let's get to the real topic: I'm actually very excited to see my Boise State Broncos get a chance again. Disappointing end to the season, but I hope Hutchison can boost his draft stock a little more.
  17. I’m furious. Oklahoma wasn’t even in the last four in?! That’s just horrible. Syracuse once again sneaks in and the top overall seed has one of the toughest sides of a bracket. Oh well. I’ll still enjoy it and there will still be upsets.
  18. Any reason why CCH and not a school in Ohio?
  19. Congrats to him. When I got to watch him play, I noticed he didn’t do anything fancy. He simply put his head down and did his job, and that’s what I think makes him a fantastic player.
  20. Bagel bites for me. Simple, but I’m making the drive down to VCU to watch a few state finals games (1A boys, 2A girls and boys. Yes, a big reason why I’m going is to see Mac McClung). Will probably grab some concession stand food, too.
  21. I was so so nervous Belmont was going to pull another heartbreaker. So happy Murray State finally got over the hump!
