Scott tried man to man coverage on the Boyle receivers most of the night and soon discovered that will not work with a QB as good as Reed with the crew of receivers he has. Cameron Yates, Luke Sheperson, Reese Smith, Landon Bartleson, Reilly Colwick, Cole Lanter and even our kicker Jackson Smith could not be covered one on one.

Don't know much about Scott other than there record. What do they like to do on offense? Are they run or pass heavy? Both teams played Highlands with vastly different results.

Dominating performance by the Rebels between the whistles but penalties have got to be cleaned up!

I have been watching these two play since the late 90's and never thought I would see such a 1 sided affair.

Boyle Co. penalties are almost out of control

Last year North Hardin was terrible, when it rains the visiting team has to stand in water over there ankles on the sideline. Danville and Lex Cath are horrible for the visiting fans due to the narrow access to the visitors side of the field but Danville at least has concessions on the visitors side. On the flip side of that I think Louisville Central is a good place to attend a high school football game, Belfrey is a great place with very friendly fans and Corbin has a nostalgic feel that makes it a great venue as well.

The Rebels defense is playing faster and with fewer mistakes than when these two played earlier. I think they will hold the Knights to fewer points than the first game and Boyle will score at will. Another running clock.

Boyle Co. 22 - Madison Southern 0 with 2 minutes left in the 1st quarter.

Boyle will win big and hopefully get plenty of playing time for the JV guys.

I think this one will be similar to the Mercer - Cal game with Mercer's running game being the difference maker. Mercer 28 - 17

I think Franklin County will handle Waggener easy enough. The game with Central with be a much better measuring stick though.

Maybe this is the light at the end of the tunnel for Danville. Go in to Somerset and compete for 4 quarters definitely shows some progress.

If the Knights defense can not play tremendously better than they did in the 2 games last year the result will be very similar to last years games. Good chance of a running clock.

Is there any doubt that Mercer is a top 10 team in 3A now!

Mercer should be able to run the ball with moderate success and win the time of possession battle. Their team speed on defense is going to keep CAL from running the ball and make them one dimensional. If the Titans can limit the big pass plays I like there chances. I think its a 50/50 game.

If they stay healthy they win 4A.

What can coach Clevinger and his staff do to salvage anything positive out of this season?

Hope the Admirals can salvage something out of this season.
