Both of Trinity’s starting running backs out for the game. Put some soph running backs in. That class has offensive skills off the chart. It looks as though the Trinity backs will not return for several weeks.

If indeed Saint Xavier sent their B team, it looks as though they should have sent their A team. I believe Covington Catholic could have beat them as well.

Trinity plays these teams all the time.

The Saint Xavier freshmen and JV team, along with Trinity,and Male should play each other twice per year. It would benefit all three schools.

I always wanted to win in sports or business. However, i never liked to humiliate an opponent. Win with class, lose with class.

I will say this about 6-A Trinity. Their schedule is tough enough without giving games away. They definitely let this first game get away. A sure win turns into a loss because of too many mistakes by the Rocks.

Can one of the Rock’s fans give me the probable starting lineup for this coming season. List position and height of each probable starter. Also what year they will be in.

Looks like Fern Creek by 12 points. The Manual program is in some turmoil. A key injury at Q-Back leaves them with very little option for a viable backup in that position.

DeSales has some extra incentive to win this game. With that being said, i pick DeSales to win by 10.

Manual should have hired Mike Glazer when they had the chance. Coach Mike would have them on the rise and ready to play. You can bet they would be playing a full Freshmen schedule, as well as a full JV schedule. Looks like you may have made the wrong hire Manual.

By all accounts the Trinity loss to a very good Carmel team was more or less a gift to Carmel with a big green bow stuck on it. Missed field goal, fumble recovered for a touchdown. And the Trinity defense fails to step up in the last few seconds of the game. This week only gets tougher. If Trinity fails to correct some very critical areas,then Trinity falls to Warren Central by 3 touchdowns. If Trinity does improve over last week, they only lose by 10.

The DeSales vs Butler game will be very special to DeSales for several reasons. Most people that follow these schools know why that is.

Oracle, you stated the Trinity AD reached out to Covington Catholic about a possible match up in the future. Do you know what the Covington Catholic response was ? I at least would like to see the JV and Freshman teams play every year. This might Lead up to a home and away series of varsity games in the near future.

Same thing every year. Ballard loaded with size, speed and talent. They always underperform,and struggle to have a winning season. They just can not seem to get the right chemistry together at Ballard H.S.

The baby Rocks were down 12-0 for most of the game. In the 4th quarter they came back to score 2 touchdowns to go up by a score of 13-12. About a minute to go in the game. Just like with their varsity big brothers, the Trinity defense failed to step up,and Carmel went straight down the field and scored to win by a score of 20-13.
