Trinity comes off their respectable close loss to Carmel (IN) to host Warren Central (IN), rated by some as #1 team in Indiana, and defeated top 10 Center Grove (IN) 27-15. Who wins this heavyweight fight?

By all accounts the Trinity loss to a very good Carmel team was more or less a gift to Carmel with a big green bow stuck on it. Missed field goal, fumble recovered for a touchdown. And the Trinity defense fails to step up in the last few seconds of the game. This week only gets tougher. If Trinity fails to correct some very critical areas, then Trinity falls to Warren Central by 3 touchdowns. If Trinity does improve over last week, they only lose by 10.

I'd never vote against my beloved Rocks. So I wont participate in this weeks poll. I will say though, if there's ever a coach or program to never count out it's a Beatty led Trinity. This could be a classic.

I think Carmel has a better defense than Warren Central, but Warren Central has better offense. This could be a high scoring entertaining game. I wouldn’t count Trinity out unless the clock read 00:00 in 4th Quarter. I’m glad it’s on TV.

Warren Central is a handful, always has some great athletes, and probably produces more high level prospects than any high school in Indiana. This is one of the better teams they've had since the mid 2000's, when they were an absolute force of nature, and probably the best high school team I've ever seen, including one year when they ran for almost 600 yards in the state title game.

That said, with this one at Trinity, it should be a great game.

It did sound like Trinity handed the game over to Carmel, who’s really good to be fair, so I think Trinity can possibly make a really good game out of this but I think Warren Central is just better. If Trinity wins this game I’ll be impressed to say the least.

T is at home and that would be an advantage most Friday nights. WC will travel well for this matchup, and the crowd will play a part. Not to mention it's on ESPNU. These teams will be amped up. Should be a great night. This could easily go either way.

Saw WC beat a very good Center Grove team Friday. They are loaded everywhere and should win this game. Center Grove runs the Wing-T and they average 6'4" 300 lbs up front and WC pushed them around most of the night.

Warren Central could very well end up as highly regarded as Ben Davis was last year and I think they finished in the top 10 nationally. WC is loaded and they have a tough schedule, I think T gives them a decent game but I expect WC to win. Although I hope T can pull off the upset. Good luck Rocks!

I always root for the KY team in these out of state games. Unfortunately, I think if Trinity wins this it is a big upset. Warren Central appears significantly better than Carmel. Trinity is a 2 TD plus underdog IMO.

For what it’s worth this early in season, Cal Preps projects Trinity winning by 6.

I’m surprised Trinity is favored by calpreps but it is at home so that helps. I really hope Trinity wins but I think Warren Central is the best team on Trinity’s schedule and maybe the best team in this part of the country.

Obviously I wasn't at this game. Didn't sound like T handed anything to anybody. Sounded more like Carmel's D line was getting the best of T's O line. According to some, T's QB was pressured all night. That could be the reason for the T's turnovers. I always pull for the KY teams against out of state opponents, but to me Carmel played better on this particular night. It seems that most seasons T has problems covering the long ball. Didn't Carmel score the last touchdown on a quick slant for big yardage? How does T correct the problem of giving up the long ball?

I like the Rocks at home. Go Rocks!

Again, I smile at the notion that Trinity's D was bad. They allowed 210 yards of total offense and the box score I saw, I counted 10 three and outs by Carmel's O.

I'd say Carmel will be better coached but WC has much better athletes. Will be a good one.
