Anyone care to predict the Trinity vs Saint X freshmen score. Or the JV score between these two rivals.

You are going to be pulled in all directions on Friday nights.

This is not your father’s Trinity and that is for sure. I hate to lose any legacy. If my son was trying to select a high school now, i would look very hard at DeSales H.S.

Either enforce the rules on transferring, or do away with them all together. They are not uniformly applied as it is now.

I love what Silver Creek has accomplished in such a short time.

In football it is always next man up. Usually the guy playing backup thinks he should be the starter anyway. Now, he has a chance to prove it.

The X faithful are indeed very optimistic about their incoming frosh. They changed a couple of young men from going to Trinity to ending up at Saint Xavier. Might have been these two.

If on the slim chance a player is ruled ineligible, the parents go to court and get it overturned. The player who left DeSales for Butler is a Divsion 1 recruit. He will be a junior this coming season.

Butler should be confident, they have a transfer from DeSales that is a real difference maker. Butler by 14.

The only thing that counts in Indiana is basketball. One year at halftime of a football game, they gave away a basketball as a door prize.

The key player that would have helped DeSales pull the upset is now playing for Butler.

Male, you need to upgrade your schedule. Playing Floyd Central is pitifull. You need to be scheduling teams from Cincy, Indy, or Nashville. At least 3 note worthy out of town opponents. Your fans will thank you.

Trinity steps up as far as scheduling the top teams in the region. Once again The toughest schedule in Kentucky. After seeing them in their scrimmage i will go with the Rocks by 12. Saint X and Male H.S. Need to take note and start playing 3-4 top opponents a year. Not the one or two X plays now. Or the one team Male H.S. Might play per year. If you are going to break the strangle hold Trinity has on the state championships you are going to need tougher schedules.

This could get ugly early on. Male by at least 30 points

If DeSales had not lost their top running back to his transfer to Butler H.S. I would be inclined to go with the Colts in an upset. Present circumstances compell me to go with Saint X by 14 points. I will however be pulling for the Colts to prevail.

I expected a lot more improvement from the mustangs. Very disappointing.

Male too legit to quit. They moved up with Trinity as the 2 best teams in Jefferson county.

75center, i bow to your knowledge of northern Kentucky H.S. Football. I know you folks up north are great high school football fans, and i always respect your opinions.

EastSideJunkie, thank you for your observations. I always respect your opinion. I have to quit drinking the kool aide they offer me over on poplar level road. After reading your opinion i feel much better about our freshmen class. Two back to back above average freshmen teams bode very well for the future.

THS 2011, thanks for your observations. I hope they are accurate. Our freshmen last year were something special. They dismantled everyone they faced. This year some of my Saint Xavier aquatinces are really enthusiastic over their frosh class. I hope the Shamrocks roll over them twice again this coming season. They play each other in the next few weeks. We should know something then.

SK better find a new center pronto.

Trinity has a habit of making good teams look bad. A few years ago in a regular season game, Trinity easily beat a very good Moeller team. All mighty Moe did afterwards was go undefeated the rest of the season, and win a state championship.

Ashland by 10 points. West Virginia H.S. Football is nothing special. Overall Ky football much better.

Fear the nation, in what areas do you think Trinity is a better team than last year ? I would be very interested in your opinion.
