I think an X Factor is here is how aggressive Eli Perez is in on ball defense. Rock doesn't really have a primary ball handler (Rogers and Leger combo it). This is something to watch because Perez can absolutely create some havoc for them in the backcourt.

I lean West Jessamine here. Boyle Co. has been playing good ball down the stretch, and have been in a ton of tight games (I think 8 Overtime games) this season. I think Tut possesses size that will limit Driver's paint scores, and Murphy's PG play will be the difference.

First ever meeting between the two programs. I believe I read somewhere Rock is the only 12th region team Danville Christian has yet to play since coming around. It will be interesting to see if Rock can get adjusted to playing with the length of Ateny on the floor. Rock is a very physical team with a flamethrower in Walker Craig, and will no doubt make it tough on the Warriors. I expect a hard fought game, but ultimately think the combo of Mikels and Ateny of the inside will be too much for the Rockets.

I’ve been on the Pirates all season long, but I think Hazard is the more complete team. They need to feature Edwards some more. They sometimes can get lost in only high ballscreens for Morguson. Coach Huff can finish writing quite the redemption story. I feel like Caudill will find a way to get it done.

I’m pulling for the Bobcats, but I think NL may win the rematch here. Should be a good battle between the top two teams all season.

The Mikels kid really gets overshadowed for DCA. He's old school type player, and has got it done all season. Between him and Ateny they're getting 33 PPG/18 REBS.

But, if that's the case he still looked pretty effective to me last night. Rock is very physical team, and the way these referees have let it go it could be in their advantage.

Sometimes unfortunately, you tell teenagers to do things and it doesn't get done. It can be drilled and hammered in, but sometimes the moment overtakes the training.

For sure, I would tend to think (being on the outside looking in) football has had a direct impact on basketball. Which, I know Coach Adkins short bench last season may have contributed to some defects as well.

I would think Coach Booher being a former State Champion coach would cast a wide net. Whoever it is, has to keep their kids from other schools. Coach Adkins had a good run, but was really hampered by that and some injuries this season.

The best young assistant in the 12th Region is Noah Young from Somerset. Not sure he wants a head coaching job, but he has taken the lead on most of the scouting for Somerset this season and the results have been evident.

I'm going to ride with Caverna. I've been on them all season, and I think the tournament experience with the All A will benefit their run.

Will Coach Booher do a statewide search again, or keep it local? IF local, those two are the obvious choices. I would lean McCray because he has experience leading a HS program.

Can the Massey atleast get Somerset's record correct? It's 22-6, and the sheet has it 20-7.
