The (14-12) Rebels and the (18-10) Colts face off for the second time this season. West Jess took the first matchup between these two with a 47-44 win back on January 20th in Nicholasville. Tipoff in the regional semifinals is scheduled for 8:15pm toinght.

 

I lean West Jessamine here.  Boyle Co. has been playing good ball down the stretch, and have been in a ton of tight games (I think 8 Overtime games) this season.  I think Tut possesses size that will limit Driver's paint scores, and Murphy's PG play will be the difference.

This will be close and it will most likely be in the upper 40s to low 50s. I stand by my Boyle pick but somebody is going to have to get loose and have a standout night, be that Driver, Webb or someone else.

Wheeler has been playing good for Boyle lately also.  This one definitely a toss up.  Who is most important for Boyle to Shut down?  Tut, Floyd or Murphy?

Murphy. Boyle is physical enough inside to make things tough on Tut. 

My guess is that West will put Stiefel on Wheeler.  That will be an important match up.

I agree with this. Murphy put West on his back to close out the game against SCS. If this is to be a rock fight down to the end, it will probably need to be Murphy again to give them the offensive push at the wire.
