I don't think the coaching part has ever been the issue. He absolutely knows the game.

I'll go with the Maroons in a close one at home. They've played a pretty efficient zone for most of the year, and I think the extra time with the Boys Region starting later will help them.

I will take Mercer Co. Zach Hutchinson hurting his ankle in district championship impacts my decision on this one. He has been playing really well down the stretch for the Warriors.

Clay Co is hot right now. What a scenario if Coach Jones faces the old team in Harlan Co! I still think Harlan Co. In the end, but very tough draw.

Fraley is back, but I do believe still hobbled. He’s showing great grit playing, and is still a force but not 100 percent IMO.

I think both of PC 2017 and 2023 were both at Lincoln Co.

DCA will earn it IMO. Wayne Co. is a very good team, and Somerset is hot playing in their hometown. No easy ones this time of year.

Pulaski Co/Somerset Round 4 @ Pulaski is my prediction. Pulaski will have their hands full with Boyle, and Somerset will have a war in semis regardless if they take care of business.

Tonight, DCA played a few possessions of 1-2-2 and then a possession 2-3 zone and Brown drained a 3 in. I hadn’t seen in any other games this season while watching them play get in any zone defense.

Southwestern has been playing their best ball of the year. Wayne drilled them twice during the season. Game is @ Southwestern. I’ll take Wayne 63-56 in a tight one tonight.

The last time these two played it was extremely close at Boyle, but it was the 2nd big boy's first game being eligible. I think DCA breaks through for their first district championship in school history tonight. I'll predict 52-45. Quisenberry will have to be on for the Rebels to win.
