I personally am going to throw out Dixie and Ryle as impressive wins. Give me Holy Cross, NCC, & Beechwood wins over SK, Highlands, and Grant Co. not to mention the St. Henry win at Conner earlier in the year. It is all personal opinion I just disagree with you. Great list though and thanks for your weekly dedication.

I am somewhat surprised to see St. Henry #3 after beating Beechwood. On a side note, I hope that your son doesn't recognize others being rude and is able to enjoy the games without having to feel less than. I can't imagine the challenges that not only you have to go through, but especially him, and for someone to take away his joy in a world filled with challenges just seems unfair. God bless you both and continue giving your son these moments of joy regardless of how others act and feel. At the end of the day, as a father, that is all that matters.

IMHO he was also the only Colonel who looked like he wanted the ball in his hands vs. Oak Hill Academy. Sure, he doesn't put up the numbers that some of the other guys in the region do, but he is the definition of a floor general who elevates all those around him.

I saw on social media that every member of the team saw some action tonight for the Colonels. Do we have any stats?

Obviously there are some people on here who are not happy with what is going on in Ft. Thomas. I believe @TheDeuce has already asked the question, but I didn't see an answer. If Highlands was to move on from BW, who are some realistic hires that would make the fan base happy, or is it just a matter of get rid of this guy and hope for the best?

What talent other than Shearer has left Highlands since BW has been there that would have made an impact? Honest question.

My assumption would be that if he is playing safety they would redshirt him considering Corker and Dort both coming back as Juniors (also seeing as how they red-shirted the entire freshman class this past year), but that is pure speculation.

I believe Duren is in the class of 2022. Roman Catholic also has Justice Williams who is the #8 SG and #34 overall player in the class of 2022.

I know you are big on what SW has in the pipeline, what does BC have coming up that could entice B. Smith away? Other than going back home, is there a lot of talent in the pipeline at BC that could pull him away from SW?

KSR is reporting that Dekel Crowdus will be returning to FD for his senior season after a coaching change at IMG. I believe this gives FD the top 2 recruits in Kentucky next year with Jager Burton being the other one.

It is kind of interesting that in the rankings on this thread everybody has JC ranked ahead of Boyle (for good reason as they beat them in the game that matters the most), but in the hypothetical best of 10 thread only 1 person has JC winning more games than Boyle.

NKY doesn't get the votes. Lanter and Smith split votes. Allen had a heck of a career and is going to UK. Allen wins. I think realistically, Allen was ahead before the season began in the minds of voters, and Mayer didn't see enough balls come his way to overtake Allen. I think Smith should probably win it with what he did both offensively and defensively (impressive numbers both ways), but it is hard to beat out a QB going to UK. I also don't think it helps Mayer, Smith, or Lanter that they only played the first half of most of their games.

That is some big praise, hopefully he is able to make it happen.

Does this game tell us more about Beechwood or Bishop Brossart? Great win for the Mustangs!

I'm very interested in how good SW will be. I admittedly do not know much about them, but @PurplePride92 has been hyping up the future of SW. It sounds like the SW BG game could be another treat next year and possibly one of the better regular season games in 5A.

You're completely right, and not only did they beat them, they destroyed them. The only reason I say the La Salle win is a better win is because of who La Salle beat (and who they lost to) vs. Carmel's schedule. At the end of the day though, Kentucky reigns supreme over Ohio and Indiana!
