  1. My guess would be that his ego won't allow him to take the blame.
  2. Tony Williams took to Twitter after the game and blamed officials. I feel that's a clown move. And all it does is teach your players to be victims. What will be the excuse next time?
  3. Why is he still in the game chucking 3s when they are up 30?
  4. I spoke with a college assistant last night and he said that he expects the kid to wind up high major. Said he's got great hands and feet. Also highly skilled and a great passer. Not a great scorer though. Again, not my words but from a guy I definitely trust.
  5. I know of one guy who is trying to get it but I doubt he does. Took a team to multiple state tournaments. On a related note, what happens with districts in the 11th region next year? There's already one 5 team district.
  6. Haven't heard anything about Connor Wilson this season. Is he no longer D1 bound?
  7. Interested to know how the Cordle kid is developing at Augusta? I saw him at a camp a couple years back and he had skill and knew how to use his body.
  8. I've heard the Travelers kids are starting to move to new teams. So far I was told Anthony Wales is playing for Louisville Magic and Ahmad Price is playing for Hoop Dreams. Wonder where kids like Tre King and Zach Kelch wind up? Will EJ Williams play in KY or return to Ohio? And do other kids lose their roster spots on Magic and Hoop Dreams because of the movement? And also, this board has been dead lately so let's liven it up. AAU season is 2 months away.
  9. My words weren't clear. Needed some punctuation lol. I meant to say I've seen them all except for CJ Frederick, BUT I think Andrew Taylor is the best. I'd rank them Andrew Taylor, Trevon Faulkner then Mickey Pearson in that order. And that's without seeing Frederick. I know he gets a lot of love from the NKY folks. Pearson probably winds up the best college prospect due to his size and ability to score from and guard the wing at 6'7 or so.
  10. I guess I should rephrase. I don't see him being promoted like the rest of the top kids in the 2018 class. But he can certainly hold his own against any of them.
  11. Not sure who is better than him in that class. I've seen them all but CJ Frederick and Andrew is better than the rest.
  12. I honestly believe Trevon is vastly underrated. You don't hear his name mentioned as much with the other elite 2018s in ky.
  13. It is mind boggling that any coach could let a kid take 19 3s and just keep missing. I know others will say "shooters gotta shoot" but goodness that's a lot of bricks to toss up there.
  14. Missed your recap last week. What can you tell me about this "Super Regional". I've never heard of such a thing in KY. Also, I'm pretty sure Mason Blair broke the record for most 3PT attempts in a career about 2 years ago lol. Long term, I think their best scoring option is Cole Crace. Shooting 10% higher from the field and not taking 16 3s per game like Blair.
  15. No. You have 5 seconds to put the ball in play. If the ball is rolled in, it is considered in play.
  16. I've missed something. What happened to the Frederick kid?
  17. Luke Johnson is the best player in the 11th in my opinion. I know everyone puts Taveion above him but I'm taking Luke.
  18. Really interested to see this kid play. Heard good things.
  19. So, who wins between Catholic and LCA tomorrow? I'll take Catholic and look forward to even more chaos in the 11th
  20. The top 2019 kids who are already playing out of state are definitely not paying for anything and travel is taken care of for the players and their families.
  21. Agreed about the lack of a UA team in Ky. I know Magic and Hoop Dreams were both UA at some point in the past couple of years. Not sure Ky Premier would be able to pull kids from border states. Ohio has All Ohio Red and Indiana has Spiece Indy Heat do a good job of controlling the top kids in state. Not to mention teams like Indiana elite and Ohio Basketball Club who have drawn from Ky in the past.
  22. With the Travelers losing their Nike deal, will they be able to stay a marquee team in Kentucky? Or will another program ascend to take their place? I know Premier now has a boys program and Wky elite has had success. Is there a program in our state ready to move up into the top 3 with Magic and Hoop Dreams?
  23. Watched Clay this summer and twice this season so far. Just not a very good team right now. Young, small and not very athletic.
