Hey CAL FAN don't get me wrong, I like seeing the Backups play too, but most smaller schools don't have the numbers that CAL or DeSales have. So when you get up by 36 pts. and you then put in fresh troops so you can get the 2nd & 3rd strings some reps against your opponents same tired 1st string ??? Safety must be a concern. And some games are such mixed matches that KHSAA even recognizes a need to end such games in a hurry..... I guess teams could mix your starting lineups etc, Good luck in the playoffs & safe travels.

Who has a longer drive than Metcalfe County for there first round game in 2A ? Or all Divisions ? Safe travels to all schools and fan bases during this playoff season.

The Colts have been playing seniors and sitting some starters which is nice....Now that its playoff time I hope that they kick it up a notch and take care of business early. Like to see them gain back that early season mo that's been missing for awhile. This team has been a pleasant surprise as they have a small senior class and the expectation lower than last year. So with that said, let's get this thing started....

You nail it Purple88, very good report on this game.....they are huge on that O-line, D1 bodies. Hats off to CAL, they go all the way.

Kids can go to CAL & DeSales and get great coaching there as if they went to the big schools. (Lafors @ CAL, Davis & Scroggins @Desales).Level of competion is close too ( Trinity's is out of this world tuff)....but I do believe they still don't get the numbers and some of the big name players as they do....Of coarse Mr. Wright at CAL is the exception.( they have 2 others consider D1 level ) The Scott kid at DeSales has got to be in some colleges' radar too....

PS. The Trojan Marching Band & Dance team were fantastic last night....my hat is off to them.

Doesn't surprise me that North Hardin played us that well...I watched the NH vs. Boyle Co. game and it was barn burner too... Yes we have some guys out with injuries, but that part of football unfortunately. ..
