Here we go folks. A week after T/X, we now have the small school equivalent. Most people have whittled 2A down to a three team race. DeSales and CAL comprise ⅔ of that race. The Colts (6-0) are the most battle tested team in 2A, having bested five ranked opponents, including three in the 6A top 10. CAL (6-0) has the best player in the class, as well as 2A’s stingiest defense. The impact of this game is only slightly diminished by the fact that a far more important playoff rematch likely awaits. But don't tell that to the players. They'll leave it all on the field on Friday night.

I believe this will be a close, low scoring game. I’m going to take a battle tested DeSales in a close one. DeSales by 3.

This is a toss up... if DeSales can stop the big plays it will come down to who has the least turnovers

Agree Skeeterback....got to stop the big plays...no mistakes for DeSales.

DeSales by 7.

The game is at DeSales. From what I hear CAL has three D1players, including Milton Wright. The Colts' secondary is not their strong point. However, the Centurions' QB,

again from what I've been told, does not necessarily throw the deep ball well---mainy hitch passes to Wright. I really like the QB for DeSales. I say DeSales wins 17-10.

DeSales closely. I’ll be surprised if the game is high scoring.

I did not realize that there was so much "chippiness" between the fan bases until I read the article in the C-J. Best of luck to both teams---and stay injury free.

LiveSportscaster.com | Live Event Streaming & Podcast Network Is supposed to be streaming the game.

This is going to be a tough one for the Colts, but they've been facing tough competition all season long and coming out on top. They won't be intimidated by CAL's stars, but hopefully they won't take them lightly either. DeSales may not have the big name stars, but they have a very talented squad & some of the most hard-nosed football players I've seen in years. Aaron Pfaadt is a very talented QB & he has a group of hard running RBs to work with. Antione Johnson, Darren Hollenkamp & Carlos Ordway are very effective at running the football. I get the feeling that whatever team can control the line of scrimmage and win the turnover battle will win the game.

I read that article too. I don't think the players will let the trash talk bother them. I just hope the fans can keep their emotions under control.
