Hope we can bring the heat on defense and manage some ball control on offense. CAL is CAL, can beat you in many ways, Off. Def and their special teams are pretty darn good too. Hope its a clean game with no injuries !
It's all about the matchups, Paducah Tilghman plays more into DeSales's hands last week. Who knows how we stand up to CAL this week ?? I do like the teams that more versatile, pass/run on offense and the same on D then a team thats has weakness somewhere. Teams like that tend to have answers.
Can't argue your point on DeSales, wins are not as strong as the preseason has us to believe. But our losses were both on the road. St.X in a turnover-fest and coming off a bye week loss @ Lex Cath. So I'm excited and yet nervous going to CAL this week and in 2 weeks after that to Mercer Co.
Yeah listending too, both teams are getting some tuff calls according to the PT annoucers. Again another call....they can't understand what's being called at the line of scrimage.
Long drive on game day will have its effect.. the day... the day off from school will too, I could tell that the bye between the Butler game and the Lex Cath game had it effect on the Colts slow start, at atleast it may have had.
#1 DeSales (BGP) pulls out the nailbiter over #1 Paducah Tilghman (according to RPI ).... then again hmm either way it should be a great game Friday night.
I most likely stay home this Friday (that might change by Thursday night) but would love see DeSales defense try to stop the Pad. Tilghman offensive machine, 43+ ots. A game....wow.
