Coltcity Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 Whooo...that was a battle. North Hardin is athletic, big with good speed too. Their QB is tuff, smoked our DB's a few times. WR #80 had 3 TD receptions. Colts QB Phaat had some big time runs along with RB A. Johnson, they carried our Offense.... it took a big Interception by DeSales #7 to iced the game....
winterweather Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 North Hardin is one of the more underrated teams than in the state. The Trojans have kept things much closer than most thought they would the last 2 weeks against high caliber competition.
KyPreps1965 Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 The Desales/X margin was wider than this...NH playing surprisingly well enough to win against 2 top teams after not being competitive the previous season against them! Hat tip to the staff for doing what they've needed to do between them and now to make the team a formidable opponent!
charlesw88 Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 Is DeSales missing anyone with injuries? I expected DeSales to win this one a much bigger margin. No disrespect to North Hardin. North Hardin has a really good team. But Boyle County has been dealing with injuries otherwise I felt like they would have really dominated the game. Either way, good win against a good team!
SpartansBasketball Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 DeSales might have been looking ahead to the CAL game next week.
Coltcity Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 Doesn't surprise me that North Hardin played us that well...I watched the NH vs. Boyle Co. game and it was barn burner too... Yes we have some guys out with injuries, but that part of football unfortunately. ..
Coltcity Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 PS. The Trojan Marching Band & Dance team were fantastic last night....my hat is off to them.
Skeeterback Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 DeSales really struggled with the turf condition... 1st time this year they played in the mud - they seemed 2 steps slower then NH. A lot of missed tackles... exciting game though!
