Question About 8th Region Draw
You’re probably right. And since they play virtually no defense, they don’t need to prepare for one specific opponent.
-
Waggener 58 Trinity 47 (27th District Final)
Waggener controlled this game from start to finish. They played hard and unselfish. David Johnson took the game over in the 2nd half, but got no other help from his team, and Waggener was able to weather the storm.

John Young (Christian Academy Louisville '20) Recruiting
He didn’t commit. They offered him today. Along with Auburn.
-
Spencer County 45 Anderson County 34 (30th District Semifinals)
The young Bears exercise a demon.

8th Region Week 12 in Review: Walton-Verona and Collins remain 1-2
I’d expect them to handle that one with ease. Your young Bears look to be peaking at the right time.

Seneca 69 Male 62
Seneca really does a great job of sharing the ball offensively and playing team defense. Missing Fleming definitely hurt Male in this one though.

North Bullitt 85 South Oldham 82 (2 OT)
My mistake. Sorry. I know of the directional Bullitt schools, BC has had a little buzz at times this season in the weekly rankings, and the LIT.

North Bullitt 85 South Oldham 82 (2 OT)
I think you’re confusing them with Bullitt Central.

BluegrassPreps Boys Basketball Top 20 Rankings Week 10 Discussion
I’m not saying they’re a bad team at all. I just don’t think they’re very battle tested.

I’m sorry. I still can’t buy in on John Hardin. That schedule is just weak.

He’d be great there.

Ballard goes split squad to play 2 games the same night
But many coaches being the control freaks that they are wouldn’t allow half their kids to go somewhere any play someone. Anyone. Is this really worth debating?

Ballard goes split squad to play 2 games the same night
Wasn’t necessarily a comment about his guts. But rather his open mindedness. How many coaches would split their team up to play 2 regular season games on the same night at 2 different places? I doubt there are more than a couple.

Rennet isn’t afraid of anything. I remember watching him leave a game to get popcorn during an LIT game against Fern Creek a couple years ago when they wouldn’t come out of a zone.

Male 69 Collins 46
Two teams going in opposite directions late in the season.
-
Bullitt East 66 Collins 52
Bullitt East has a lot of talent, but they’ve been horribly inconsistent this season. They’ve beaten a couple of good teams, but they’ve lost to several not so good teams. Beating Collins isn’t a shock. But hearing them that badly is.

Bullitt East 66 Collins 52
So what’s happening at Collins? The Woodford loss wasn’t bad on its own. But now they lose to a Bullitt East team that’s not exactly like the Bullitt East teams of a few years ago.

8th Region Week 8 Review - Collins Stays at #1
Are you insinuating that a school was scared to play Spencer? Because that’s an entirely new level of conspiracy theory. And incredibly comical.

8th Region Week 8 Review - Collins Stays at #1
Looks pretty spot on to me. Maybe there’s not much debate because things are working themselves out.

John Hardin, Scott County or Trinity
I’m not saying they aren’t “solid”. But what other good win does John hardin have? They’re schedule has been light. Pretty sure their coach would admit that. Maybe they lightened it on purpose. They lost some good players last year. Coaches tend to adjust the schedule for the type of team they think they’re going to have. That being said, I think they’ll easily win the 5th. Based on the draw, they could make a run in Lexington.

John Hardin, Scott County or Trinity
John Hardin isn’t close to Trinity or Scott Co. Look at the 3 schedules. John Hardin’s only good win is Larue Co. And is that really that good of a good win?
-
Spencer County 83 South Oldham 79
Massive win for the young Bears. Based on the score, they were making shots? Both of these teams like to push it and let it fly. I’m sure it was a fun game to watch.

Seneca 61 Ballard 59
Coach Coleman did a really good job at JTown. And he’s doing a great job at Seneca. They’ll continue to get better.
-
Walton-Verona 65 Spencer County 45
Two players having 3 fouls in early the 2nd quarter is a massive indicator of a lack of depth. 20 games into the year, that’s a bad sign. Legs are going to get fresher, and now there’s plenty of film to exploit other weaknesses. If I’m coach Burns, my practices get significantly lighter, and kids are taking ice baths every night. With the system they’re running, you have to be able to play 8-9 guys significant minutes.
