Line play will play a factor sure, but this is Trinity and it's not like their line is chop liver. Lafayette has a few 4-5 star line and they couldn't advance further than 1st round vs Simon Kenton who had mediocre/ average line. My point is, it comes down to the skill players. What team or skill players is going to show up? I pick the Rocks just because I know they have better overall skill players.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the game I mentioned vs South Warren for the regional championship? Which was deep in the playoffs and wasn't that long ago. I guess what i'm asking is that if that team PT was the same this season as the one I saw when they played SW?

Honestly, I found a film from last season's playoff with PT vs. South Warren and folks, either South Warren was really good or PT was really awful. PT did not look good and was defeated 36-0. Does PT have the same skill players from last season?

Yes I would agree that Station has superior athletes, but an ELITE coaching staff? Same ones that did little or nothing with the incident after the Lafayette game. perhaps some say that they even instigate the issue. No names, but I was there at the game and saw first hand.

This Legend kid is good considering this season will be his first full time at the helm. He has a tons of speedy weapons which will boost his confidence. He will only get better as the season goes. Next season he will also have several weapons waiting and chomping at the bits. Bennington, Hodges, Roden, Buchannani.

No question about it, Saint X and Trinity at Papa Johns Stadium with 30,000 plus fans in attendance.

^^^ Station beat Lafayette by 3 points gamebreaker, c'mon. The reference is that Lafayette had tons of talent/ D1 players and SK beat them good. Where as Station only beat them by 3. I think what the " northerners " are saying that SK has all the nucleus weapons back from last season that thumped LHS and Station only squeaking by 3 pts. Thats all sir.

^^ It's ok for them to be overlook. As far as we know, we have the knowledge of what type of ball players that they have. 3 returning OL, D line rotation is deeper than what they expected, Jalen Jones, LB's and those receivers WOW! Lex Cath might not have the D1 name surrounding them, YET.. but by mid season, they all will be knocking for those players I mentioned.

I have heard, I have seen that Station has tons of speed. I get that, but then again so did Lafayette last season. All the talk was the D1 players/ linemen and athletes that they had in Lafayette's roster.... And looked at the outcome, SK took it to them. My point is for this game, does speed really factors in? I believe SK makes adjustment to the speed that Station brings just like they did last season against a highly favored, speedy and athletic Lafayette.

IDK maybe to keep contact with life long friends, family or better yet post motivational items instead of the negativity that surrounds us now a days. Just a thought, perhaps people would be happier and not so ticked off. Whatcha think?

Big task for Mercer Co to beat Lafayette. that would be great for the program. I can't see Henry Clay beating Saint X. Tigers are sound, fundamental program. HC has a lot of speed and athletes, but Tigers all that way.

NO, really, Creek is not that good at all. As far as Belfry, we all know how good they are as a program, but to say you beat a 6A TC, I'll keep that hush and move on to the following game.

I know that you can't use the summers 7 on 7 as a measuring stick, cause Lex Catholic beat Ryle a few times.... but you can add Jalen Jones to the equation. He is back this weekend and I would like to know how Ryle is going to defend the pass and the run at the same time. I know Ryle is very talented as well, but to load the box to stop Jones and leave the receivers one on one? I like LC chances on that. LC in a slight win 24-28
