Boyle County 38 Danville 31 (JV)

Featured Replies

Boyle County comes back from a 31-14 deficit to win the game. Very exciting game is what I was told.

I had to leave early. What happened in the last quarter? Boyle was having trouble containing Danville's speed up to that point.

I wasn't there and had to rely on details from my son. He said Tanner Crawford had 3 TDs and that Boyle scored the go ahead TD with about 40 seconds left.

Someone on Facebook posted that Danville was robbed of a long TD. I have no details and wasn't there. Anyone know what happened on that play?

BCHS JV ran the ball w/Crawford and Danville did not adjust well at all. Plus on offense I thought Danville got way too conservative.

Danville starting QB Zach Thornton got hurt very early and they had to play David Walker (who plays CB on the Varsity team) at QB. He only played 2 qtrs but was impressive running the ball. It was a pretty sloppy game. BCHS had 5 TOs and Danville had a couple (one late up a couple scores) and gave up an on-side kick w/1:40 left that untimely cost them the game.

Strange play indeed...David Walker scored but somehow there was a touchback. I'm assuming he fumbled the ball thru the end zone and out of bounds before he crossed the goal line. Behind the play there were off setting personal fouls but we couldn't figure out what was called.

Imagine that! Someone using social media to express how they feel. Society is losing.

What else would they use?

Is that David Walker kin to former Admiral David "Day Day" Walker who played for the Ads from '87 to '89?

What else would they use?

IDK maybe to keep contact with life long friends, family or better yet post motivational items instead of the negativity that surrounds us now a days. Just a thought, perhaps people would be happier and not so ticked off. Whatcha think?

Yes. I believe that is his son. I was told he was easily the best player on the field last night.

Facebook is a cesspool of negativity. There's no question about that.

Sounds like he might be a chip off the old block.

David was a perfect compliment to Donnie Redd in that backfield. in '89 the Ads had Redd, Walker and Ganns out of the wishbone. Speed upon speed. It's too bad Walker made some poor choices and Harp suspended him his Junior year right before the playoffs. Never played again.

He's good kid and a helluva an athlete.

Yes...David is a great player and a fantastic young man.
