Who do you think wins and why?

If LexCath blitzes a lot they will win the game.

This should be a very good game. I'll take the Knights in 35-28 game.

 

Jaylen Jones, LexCath's best player, will be back from his injury for this one.

 

Despite this being only the 2nd time these two programs will have played each other they should be very familiar with each other. Not only was Coach Engler at Catholic for 20+ years but the two teams played each other around 6 times in 7-on-7 this summer.

Two good teams, very well coached and very respectful young men on both sides. This should be a great game.

Lex Catholic is very fast. Made Ballard DBs look slow. Great fans and a nice team. #3 can fly.

JJ Ogbogu is #3 and I said it in the preseason he should make the All State Team this year. The ability to cut without slowing down make him a tough cover for any secondary. The return of Jones will only make it easier for the wideouts if Ryle loads up the box to stop Jaylen. This game will be a chess match, I am kind of interested in seeing the LexCath kids approach. A senior heavy team with high expectations at home against a quality opponent. Friday night hurry up and get here!!!!!

I'm curious if the offense mind set for Lex is the same

as it was with Engler there? Do they still throw the ball

around a lot? If they do it could

posr problem for Ryle because they can't stack the box.

Lexington Catholic is a team that spreads you out but they are still 50/50 in their play calling. Of course they'll try to attack mismatches but I expect it to remain 50/50 against Ryle.

Stack the box to stop Jones, but then you leave yourself exposed ma on man with the Thompson Twins, JJ Ogbugu, D. Morris. So what do you do as a defensive coordinator?
