I look for the Raiders to eat a lot of clock and get the raider rushing attack in full gear with a smattering of passes to keep lexcath off balance and their offense off the field.

Agree and after last week Ryle will throw a lot as Morgan and macgregor will be the bulk of the offense as macgregor is by far the best back on the Ryles roster ... Best defensive adjustment wins .... LC by 3

This should be a very good game. I'll take the Knights in 35-28 game.

 

Jaylen Jones, LexCath's best player, will be back from his injury for this one.

 

Despite this being only the 2nd time these two programs will have played each other they should be very familiar with each other. Not only was Coach Engler at Catholic for 20+ years but the two teams played each other around 6 times in 7-on-7 this summer.

I'm confused BGC

It's kind of good that some of these players on LC are being overlooked.

^^ It's ok for them to be overlook. As far as we know, we have the knowledge of what type of ball players that they have. 3 returning OL, D line rotation is deeper than what they expected, Jalen Jones, LB's and those receivers WOW! Lex Cath might not have the D1 name surrounding them, YET.. but by mid season, they all will be knocking for those players I mentioned.

Great early season test for Catholic. They have a very tough schedule this year. It's going to be interesting to see how they play in Coach Engler's homecoming to his old stomping ground. With Jones back this week, I expect a nice balance of the air and ground game to keep Ryle's D on their toes.

 

I'm intrigued by the QB matchup. I know Tanner Morgan is a playmaker. I have yet to see much of Legend Brumbaugh. Hopefully he doesn't disappoint. He has all the weapons to excel at LC.
