The majority of these kids will benefit more from the discipline and accountability they are subject to by Coach Carr than any amount of playing time he could give them. Being able to deal with what life brings you will be more important to the 99% of kids who will never play at the next level. I would let Brad Carr coach my kid any day.

Congrats to Mr Schabell. Well deserved honor for a guy who devotes his time to our young athletes. From his days of umpiring Knothole baseball to his years of devotion to the Bishop Brossart program, he has always been the consumate professional and class act. Any program would be lucky to have a Dave Schabell .

One of those games where you hate to see one team lose. Both played hard and left it on the floor. Congrats to the Camels for fighting back. Down double digits in the 4th with Scott hitting shot after shot, it didn't look good for the Camels. Thought the Lady Eagles put up some quick shots several times down the floor instead of running some clock. Give credit to the Camels for finding another gear. Schwarber with 2 huge 3s from the corner and Clos driving for layups. Lady Camels also made free throws down the stretch when it counted. Best of luck to both teams in the Region tourney.

Congratulations to Matt. He has worked very hard over the past 4 years. Great player... great kid.

In a game that means nothing, what's wrong with giving the Seniors some love? They come to practice every day and work hard to make the "starters" better. If Paris was only 9-21 from the FT line, maybe that was the issue, not the fact that several other Seniors finally got a chance to play for their school.
