It sounds like everything is lining up right for Bellevue. Don't forget that exactly 40 years ago this week Bellevue pulled off a stunner against Newport in the district and advanced to the regional. Can Steve Ridder's alma mater repeat history 40 years later?

Snapp has been holding onto to Wiggins until the right time. After witnessing at practice that NOBODY was able to guard him, he should cause lots of trouble for Bellevue.

I don't know much about Bellevue but it sounds like if they can contain Snapp they will put themselves in a really good place to win. Also with many of the starters gone from Newport, it will be important for Bellevue to put pressure on Newports bench players and create turnovers

This sounds like Newport has a number of problems. I would guess the superintendent will be looking closely at what is going on in the program.

 

Since Newport is without three starters, I'm going to predict history repeats itself from exactly 40 years ago in the district between these two schools. Bellevue 51, Newport 47.
