Snapp has been holding onto to Wiggins until the right time. After witnessing at practice that NOBODY was able to guard him, he should cause lots of trouble for Bellevue.

We know there are three jerseys going unused tonight. Maybe Wiggins has been dismissed as well since it appears to be a trend.

There will be a number, but it is yet to be determined. My understanding is it will be taped on in case he gets into foul trouble so that way they can change numbers and its like the other one was never even there!

I don't consider many of these issues to be a baskeball program issue. Coach Snapp does a great job. This is not on him.

So it is a problem with the players away from basketball. That is really unfortunate.

According to earlier posts, this is not a basketball issue. If Bellevue wins, they deserve it. I would not point to any of Newport's problems as the reason. I do agree I can not recall three starters being dismissed from a team in one season for many years. This is why I think Bellevue pulls off the upset tonight, that and being at home. But let us not take away from their win, if they do, by bringing up who is no longer on Newport's team. One of the things that separates average and good teams is the ability to overcome adversity. Newport, it appears, did not overcome a great deal of adversity of its own doing.

Ridder, Ahrens, Groschen, Webber, and Batsche will all be smiling tonight if Bellevue pulls this out. I wonder if they will have a 40th anniversary party of their own great victory over Newport. That was a fine Bellevue team back in 1976. Let's see if the Tigers can repeat history tonight!

Do not underestimate what Snapp can do when necessary. One of the reasons, I think, he has not scored as much this year is Newport has had plenty of options.....This game could (stress could) be his big game this year.

I applaud Coach Snapp and the Administration for following through on the discipline. Some schools let the inmates run the asylum and it sounds like Newport has their ducks in order.

0 program issues. Kids don't know to behave. It's pretty clear cut. Keep taking shots though, I applaud your effort.
