SK is playing Beechwood next year too

I would like to see SK play the 6A Louisville schools or some Cincy schools. With over 100kids on the team, they can handle to schedule a few of these games instead of 1A and 2A schools

7 turnovers by the Colonels. That won't get it done for sure. 100yard interception return for a TD was a back breaker

I won't disagree with that point. Desales is really good and probably will beat CovCath. They are at home and CovCath isn't even at full strength, so you are probably right. However, I think that Sycamore is a quality win for CovCath and shouldn't be diminished.....because that is exactly what you were doing. Sycamore is 2-3, but they have played a pretty tough schedule. Tougher than Desales and CovCath, imo.

Or maybe Colerain is that good? Instead of seeing the negative, maybe see the positive. If you want to keep comparing scores, Colerain barely getting by LaSalle must be really bad for Colerain.....since LaSalle had to go to OT with Sycamore. There is these things in sports called matchups. Maybe Colerain is a bad matchup for Sycamore. I know it's easy just to discredit people/teams, but maybe you could use your brain and think more into it instead of just throwing stones at people. I think you should talk to Coach Eviston and tell him to drop St Francis Desales and add Newark Catholic, especially since CovCath is so bad, should be an easy win for your guys.

Colerain must've played awful when they only beat Lasalle 6-0 and Lasalle must've had an off night when they beat Sycamore in OT because Sycamore is terrible. Right Newark?

Well, that confirms it Newark. Colerain beat Sycamore badly so Covcath didn't get a quality win. Covcath should be ashamed of the win

Go watch Sycamore and tell me u think that team isn't very good. They have college athletes all over the field. That being said, covcath is banged up right now so I will concede your point. Desales is at home and should be the favorite

Also, I think Covcath should be ahead of Cooper at this point. Cooper's loss doesn't look very good right now

Holy Cross isn't 2-3

Beechwood may not win this year, but they will soon. They have a great young group of guys. Beechwood was one of, if not the largest 1A school last time they classified all schools. They have, and will, continued to grow. They should move up to 2A regardless if they are even classified as such. Playing Ludlow, Bellevue and Dayton is a waste of their time....usually. The real competition for small schools up here would be Holy Cross, Walton Verona, NCC, and Lloyd......oh...and MAYFIELD to win a title!

I guess u forgot to read where I said Cincinnati, not The state of Ohio. Either way, both of those teams have been beating quality opponents since their losses to covcath.

Beechwood

I doubt it, and I don't think they will try either if it is early. I think they will continue to run and chew up clock attempting to wear down the colonels. I know CovCath isn't full strength, but I still think they have a chance in this game.

The 2 Ohio teams that Covington Catholic has defeated are still ranked in the top 10 in Cincinnati. They are turning out to be really good wins. Congrats CovCath and make KY proud this Friday

If u play on Saturday, sometimes Sunday evening is a must. No one should lose their job over a Sunday meeting. The players would've been off on Friday after school to spend time with their families. People call for someone's job every time something doesn't go their way. Get a grip or just don't let your kid play. That solves your problem

This isn't the first time that HC has had more talent than Beechwood. However, Beechwood always makes the plays to win. I will take the Tigers in a close one. Good luck to both teams

I don't think either team is very deep. The same kids play on both sides of the ball. This is a rivalry game and I expect for both teams to come out to play hard. Beechwood has not given up many points and CovCath has given up a ton. This has the makings of a great game. That being said, I expect CovCath to pull away in the second half as well. 35-21 Colonels
