  1. Think this game will be very physical. Covcath is the favorite though
  2. Healthy.....Ryle wins Teams currently, I give the edge to SK by a slim margin. Would love to see these teams play, but I will be at covcath/dixie
  3. Derrick Barnes is the best running back, linebacker, and athlete. Big, fast, and humble. Would start for any team in NKY
  4. Why don't you ask some of the players why he isn't playing? I think it won't take long for you to find your answer. I wish nothing but the best for the young man, but he has a lot of growing up to do.
  5. Glad to see covcath putting together some good teams. These freshman coaches are doing a great job the last two years helping build the program back up
  6. Playing Beechwood and playing Brossart are two totally different animals. Beechwood is in a completely different league than both of those teams. 1A fball won't be exciting until the semis...imo. After the Top 5, the other schools cannot hang with the top
  7. Birds don't play well away from home for some reason. They play much better in Fort Thomas this year. Since it is in Fort Thomas this week, I think it could go either way. I do expect a high scoring game
  8. I hope they let "lil bro" have a win. Fine by me.
  9. The final score was 47-9.......I would say it opened up just a little.....lol
  10. What was the score at halftime last year? The final score wasn't close at all last year according to the KHSAA website.
  11. Without the starting Qb and starting TB, I would think that HC would win this game by more than 26.
  12. I think Cooper beats Highlands if they play again. I think that is a bad loss for Cooper. Highlands is better than Campbell, it must've not been the Birds night when they played. I would also put Conner ahead of Highlands as well. Covcath I haven't figured out just yet. My head tells me that Covcath is better than Highlands, Cooper, and Conner. My gut tells me to stop listening to my head. 10 straight years of losing is hard to forget. We will find out how all of this shakes out in a couple of weeks, so time will tell
  13. Wow! Congrats Southern!
  14. VOR, this is more accurate in my opinion. Truth, u said Covcath doesn't have a good win. Aren't all wins good wins?
  15. Not sure that it matters because none of them are beating Bowling Green, but if I had to pick a team at this point in the season, I would take Covcath
  16. I believe the baby Birds lost to Cooper as well
  17. Covcath had an extra point blocked. Highlands had two extra points blocked. A lot of turnovers in this game for both teams
  18. More so the district that they have owned for a decade. They obviously can score some points, but they also have been playing stiff competition. Their district, compared to the non district schedule, is pretty soft. CovCath is better this year, but the Birds have owned them. I hope that Dixie or CovCath dethrones the Birds this year, but until someone does, the Birds are the favorite....imo
  19. Highlands will be just fine when they get to districts. I'm sure they will win it again and end up getting beat in the semifinals, just like last year. The semifinal opponent would be Bowling Green
  20. Proof in 100players on their team, proof they keep scheduling 1A and 2A schools, or proof Marksberry dodges certain teams?
  21. I'm sure that will prepare them for their playoff run
