I will say that water is lot different mess than Gatorade or pop to clean up. I see NO problem with a child having water. They can have water in labs at school but NOT on a bus with no air conditioning. On hot days in the late May and June that our school gave bottles of water to kids as they got on the bus. Also I will say this: HYRDRATION doe NOT start Friday on the bus to the game. It needs to start days earlier. One of the biggest problems coaches face today is athlete do not take care of themselves expect in the presence of a coach. They go home, lay around, drink and eat bad things and then when it comes game time they loose a ton of fluid and dehydrate quickly. Only so much you can do on game day to combat this. Athletes train proper and take care of yourself!

I also think that kids are different than when I played. We were outside all the time. We were accustom to the heat. I was not allowed nor did I want to be inside. Now kids sit inside in the AC playing video games, texting, twitter, IG, etc. until 4:30 then go straight to practice at 5pm. They do not get used to the heat except when they are at practice, 2 or 3 hours a day. As far as the players having heat issues, I do know we have had a mild summer then all of a sudden in game week it got hot, real hot and humid. Maybe that played a role. One of the things that also changed when we went to week zero was the fact that we had a couple of years of playing the 2nd weekend of December and I do know that caused an issue with the basketball people of our state so along with June and July rule we got a change in the schedule that brought on the week zero because some coaches still wanted the bye week. I guess they call it week zero because you can play real games and scrimmages on the same weekend. To me I think week 1 is what it should be and go from there.

I agree with you on his development but from what I was told they were projecting him as the next Alexander when he started his freshman year. I also was told that Rytlewski was hurt and unable to play. If this is true who played QB then?

A couple of questions? Who played QB tonight? Also there has been a lot of talk about huge line and D1 Material at Ryle with the Oline and such, where was that? Also if I am correct the last time Cooper beat Ryle they played in the state finals, are they that good this year or did Ryle get beat by an average team tonight that played well?

If he moves then they can't prevent it unless they can prove foul play

If they can PROVE recruiting then drop the hammer but if these kids and their parents moved to Scott Co so that their kid can play there or go to school there then I have no problem with it. That is between their family not anyone else. Bon a fide change of address then they should be ruled eligible. What you have to wonder if the home town kids will get tired of kids coming in and taking their starting job? But it is what it is.
