With Tisdale out for the season I really dont think HC can be ranked number one in the region or him as the best player. You never know how Scott County will mesh but I do now give the slight edge to LexCath. The team that I would not sleep on is LCA, they could easily slip in and win the region now.

Anyone have any updates on the Fast Lane Classic? Last year they moved to to Lawrence County due to the building issues at Sheldon Clark. Is it going back to SC? Anyone know of teams this year. I know Lexington Catholic will be participating. I think its scheduled for November 29.

I think at this point you have to have Rowan County at the top of the heap. Best player and coach in the region.

The realignment does look like 3A will be loaded even more. While I think Russell gets in a very favorable district they will be the school that travels the most in the new district, not really any built in rivals.

Does that only leave Stafford and Levitch now? Any ideas who is recruiting them?

Aside from athletic opportunity, the "life" opportunites of going to NYU and living in New York are endless.

This is really quite an accomplishment for Trinity. Spalding (UofL), Ramser (Bellarmine), Murphy (NYU), Thieneman (to choose between Air Force and Marshall). Still leaves Stafford, Levitch and West who all have good D1/DII offers. I cannot remember a team getting so many kids to the next level to really good schools.

It is still too hard to tell in 3A. You could also throw in Adair County, Lawrence County and Russell in the mix.

Sure thing. They both have one common opponent this season in Boyd County which they both handled similarily. LC did lose alot offensively but as the season progresses this group of LC players will probably only get better in the double wing. Add to the fact that aside from Belfry, LC has one of the best home field advantages in the mountains. This is no disrespect to Raceland, just my opinion of the game.

Anyone know the opposite end of this spectrum? I believe that Hopkins County Central currently has lost 31 in a row.

If the Lions were a little better this could be ripe for an upset after the Red Devils win over their arch rival. Just dont think Boyd County has the team to do that this year, closer than expected but Russell will win
