I agree that Lloyd would be over St Henry and possibly even Ryle, They sure didnt play an "easy" Dec schedule either with games against Owen Co, NCC, Conner, Holy Cross and Holmes twice. I would also switch Holmes and Newport in the rankings. I feel like it's the top 5 teams then everyone else. Luckily for all of us who enjoy high school basketball there is a lot of basketball left for us to enjoy and see how it all shakes out. -

Not to discredit Brossart by any means bc I have not seen them play this year but from what I've read this seems a little shocking, Congrats to BB on getting the W -

Any stats for Newport? -
The Australian team that beat Boone Co was not the same team that played Silver Grove, they have multiple teams in town with them and I'd guess it was their younger team that played Silver Grove.

I agree, I think Lloyd is a much better team than advertised, They played a pretty good game and just couldn't seem to get some open shots to drop. Blake Donovan is a really good PG that creates a lot of open looks for the Lloyd players, I was a bit confused as to why Williams was not playing more tonight for the Juggs but overall the Lloyd kids play well and are no longer and easy win for anyone. Conner is an excellent team and Mike Scott is a really nice player, I was very impressed with Travis Connley, He played a fantastic game for the Cougars. Conner sitting at 9-1 with Holy Cross and Cov Cath next up on the schedule.

Congrats to the Rebels

Congrats to the Cru, glad to see them get the W

From what I've found it was Jan 30 2001 63-62 Lloyd. But there was a 4-5 year span they didn't play against each other
-
Great game for Lloyd, taking the fast lead and being up by 1 after the first quarter and then to have a rough 2nd quarter and fall down by 12 at the half could have easily made it hard for them to get back into it mentally. I was really impressed with their PG play on both sides of the ball as they were scrappy and played really well, good job tonight Juggs

Lloyd plays extremely hard and is a much better team than their record indicates, a fun group of kids to watch play, good luck the rest of the season Juggs! -

I know you can't judge a whole lot on summer ball but after watching them play Holmes and Newport in back to back games beating both of them I think they will have a much better year than most are giving them credit for.
