16u,17u and 19u were this past week in Louisville

Shocked to see there is no threads discussing all the AAU basketball being played in Louisville this week. Lets get some discussion going.

I've read this about their line in multiple places, if the line is the biggest concern wouldn't that make it a little more difficult for the "skilled positions" to excel against above average teams? I know in my day that some below average "skilled position" players could look really good on film when they had a line that was able to block and protect. Could it be possible this below average line could do just the opposite to these above average skilled position players? If the line is as shaky as some say then I dont see more than a 6 win season with that schedule, if the line steps up and does their job then Ryle could potentially beat anyone at anytime. Cant wait to see how it all shapes up!

Saw them play a few times these past couple weeks and It seems they are young, Not a lot of faces that I recognized and if what I remembered was correct there were only 2 kids that looked familiar to me from the 2016 class that had played over the past few years at Boone.

Lets add that Lloyd beat both Newport and Holmes today

From what I'm hearing is Greene plays on the 16u team and the roster has these kids on it as well Tyrek Marshall-Ryle Blake Donovan-Lloyd Marcus Mullins-Holmes Davonte Williams-Lloyd Tanner Pugh-(unsure what school)

What NKY Teams are playing this weekend in the Bearcat Classic?

I have no familiarity if TBC has any sort of sponsors or not but what your saying is not true, maybe those are the only teams sponsored by Nike or Adidas but there are plenty of other sponsors who are more than willing to get involved, Obviously smaller businesses not on the level of popularity of the above mentioned sponsors but sponsors none the less that supply entry fee's, uniforms, travel help etc.

With the AAU season right around the corner does anyone have any rosters for the 17U division? Very interested to see where a lot of the NKY kids are playing and who is playing with who

I think there has been talent at Boone over the past few seasons, Granted not the type of talent that was going to win state but enough talent to be competitive, From what I seen (and I believe someone else touched on this) was there were far too many players out of position these past two seasons. Either way I wish him the best and for the sake of Boone Co I hope the new hire takes the positives from the youth teams the other high schools have put together over the past few years and either follows that road or creates a solid relationship with the BCPWFL and builds a solid feeder system for the future of Boone Co. Football

I've been wondering this for the past few years myself, Seems as too many people are more focused on a players PPG and the player who is creating opportunity for his team a lot of times goes without notice.

Walter that was quite an ignorant assumption to start spreading considering his dad lives in district and was pushing for him to go to Lloyd out of middle school, The change of schools had nothing to do with PT as the facts in the change of schools had everything to do with education.

This game was closer than the final says it was as Lloyd was in it all game and Newport pulled away in the 4th, Some fun match ups to watch as Lloyd seems to be getting better and better.
