Game was close the entire 1st half until the last minute when GRC went on a run to push the lead to 11 at the half. Then GRP came out the 2nd half and put on a clinic the 1st 2 minutes to push their lead to 25 and never looked backed. Nice to see Coach Murray in the stands again and getting much love from the GRP folk, which he has earned and deserves. Lady Camels best do some TEAM soul searching or the season will go down quicker than the Titanic. Must add that the referee crew was the best I have seen this year and the GRP hospitality was outstanding. Love that gym.

Both my daughters had to wear the ole dreaded nose guard during basketball and it really hinders their sight. Very tough to play with the nose guard on. Hope she makes a speedy recovery.

Much needed win by the lady Camels. Kylie Kramer, Brandi Rice and Carson Gray led the lady Camels to victory. Very tight game the whole way. Very nice to see Mike Murray in the stands tonight. :thumb:

Yes they were. Refs made them turn them inside out because they have to be a solid color.

Mason County shot lights out but the Lady Camels were not in this game, mentally, from the opening tip. Someone needs to right this ship quickly or it's going to be a looooong season. Camel girls have been on a roller coaster ride so far with losing their coach. Come on girls, come together as a team and get thru this united. It's very unfortunate what happened but don't let it cloud your vision of a game that you all passionately love. :thumb:

I think it depends on what refs you have because we've had some that let the girls play and the ones last night just would not allow any contact what so ever.

Difference in this was free throws. Conner shot around 90% from the line. Horrible game to watch with all the fouls. If any of the girls sneezed or farted they were whistled for a foul. It's making a mockery of the game.

Love hearing stories like this. Such an inspirational moment for all. Great job by everyone involved to make this happen. Thanks should also go out to UC Clermont coach for allowing Nick Jackson, Brody's favorite player, to attend this special night.

One reason I do it is because the High school coach demands great man defense as a team in his program. I also believe in it. Kid that understands man to man team defense can learn a zone defense quickly. Harder to teach man than zone and if they get to freshman year and have never played man varsity coach will have my hide. :thumb:

No more than 10 on a team. Anything more than that is a pain.

Agree 1000% on bolded. You will never see my 5th grade team play zone either. I have a bigger 5th grade team which causes nightmare matchups for my bigs defending on the perimeter, they get beat off the dribble constantly but it teaches help side defense and team defense. I could pack it in via zone defense but I would be doing a complete disservice to the kids. Everyone we play packs it in a zone against us cause of our size. I'm coaching these kids to prepare them for middle/high school not to win games and beat on my chest for all to see. Everybody plays valuable minutes if they "Earn" them by showing up for practice and practicing hard. I tell them the 5 kids that put forth the best effort at practice starts the game that week. Practices get very intense and the hustle is off the charts.

Sophomore Kilee Kremer. On an out of bounds play. I believe she had 16 points tonight.

Final from Trimble tonight. Don't have stats but was won on a last second shot by the lady Camels.

Skinner has to stay out of foul trouble. She only scores 2 and they still have a chance to win? Something to build on. Paige Taylor keeps shooting well and Skinner stays out of foul trouble, they could be a nightmare match up of an inside-out game. Good win for Marion, considering people on here were saying they lost to much from last year and not a top 20 team, someone forgot to tell them that.

The chances of the bolded happening? About the same chance as a slice of pizza being left with this crew. Not happening. :no:

If Hellbird and ukfan made it, they may of pulled the IQ in this picture up to double digits! Nah, never mind they would of lowered it.

I can see Ryle being interested in Coach Lickert and it would definitely be a great hire but makes absolutely no sense for him to bolt Cambell For Ryle. If that happened I would be shocked. I see other coaches in nky being interested in the Rye job.

I think the passion of the student/parents/alum/teachers/administration is 2nd to none. Amazing to me how a 1A school will have a bigger fan base than a 6A with only a third of the students. Now with that said I've seen that passion turn into anger towards referees when they think their kids are getting the raw end of the deal. But what I'll say is this, the obnoxious fan happens at every school some more than others but what I don't see happening at every school is that passion. How many schools have you seen a teacher get up in front of the student cheering section and lead a cheer? Or a principle that has a parent meeting to address parent behavior? Not many if any at all. Got to love the Big C and Mr. Patterson. :thumb:

I'm afraid to ask but What exactly is a pubic school? I know private/public but pubic.

What was your thoughts from watching them?

Parking wasn't bad because they had very few fans there. Don't wear your best shoes either, it was a muddy mess getting from parking lot to the stands.

Their speed is phenomenal. Speed and athleticism make them a threat to take it to the house at any time on offense or defense. Their defense forces lots of TO's. Corners are fast but #42 LB stood out to me. Kid had a ton of tackles against the Camels. On offense, lots of playmakers. RB #2 great speed and elusive, Camels did a great job of containing him but he did rip off an 89 yard TD run. Lots of speed at WR, QB likes to throw it long and let them go get it. TOs and big plays is what you have to limit against them. :thumb:
