Wow. Can't believe I forgot Cooper with coach Levandusky in the drivers seat. My apologies to Jaguar faithful. You are correct one will not make it out of the district.......whoever that may be....I love this time of year.

I wouldn't underestimate Conner, Ryle, Holmes or Boone. Any of those 4 could beat the top 3. NCC and HHS play very good defense but have had their struggles shooting the ball on a consistent basis. I would call it an upset but it would not surprise me.

Not sure who it is going after his teaching license but you are correct someone has it out for him. I gotta believe all the support Coach Murray is getting really don't sit well with someone or some people. No way this goes through. I would be shocked if he lost his license. For whatever reason they are trying to bury this guy and his family. This will not be over anytime soon and I hope Murray lands a job somewhere he is appreciated and respected for the time and passion he puts into molding these young lady's. This has given CCHS a black eye and the soap opera continues....I keep waiting to wake up from a bad dream. Coach Murray is an adult and can handle what they are throwing at him but what his daughters and the lady Camel team has endured this year is unfair and unjust. Will someone please shake me and wake me up from this horrible nightmare. :taz:

Camels had some season ending injuries and are pretty young but you hit the nail on the head with the chemistry from the coach being ousted. Seems that the girls are emotionally drained and they lost a lot of passion. It's almost like they just want the season to end. They are still playing hard but something is a miss.

Lady Camels led at the half 22-21 and get outscored in the 2nd half 41-27. I think both teams were in double bonus both halfs. I'm not sure how many fouls were called but it was a truck load. These 2 1/2-3 hour games are brutal. Congrats to the Lady Cru on the win. I was going to wait to comment on my lady Camels, but I'll sum it up in one word..... Painful

This surprises me since HHS has played such good defense. Sometimes teams are just bad match ups. I love the parity and how you need to bring your A game every night, or anyone can be beat. Seems a lot of these teams rely on their defense a ton and if they aren't shooting well its wide open in the 9th. Congrats to the Pandas and I'm sure Coach Richey will rebound from this with her young team. :thumb:

The over and back scream from the stands is the one that goes through me and sometimes I can't bite my tongue hard enough and have to explain the rule to them. Then I always get the same response, "Well that's a stupid rule"

Congrats to HHS and little Coff drop for putting up 24. Love hearing the Lady Cats are improving and have that don't quit mentality. Always makes girls basketball more interesting and better to watch when there's parity. :thumb:

Don't be fooled by the score. Coach Feldman called the dogs off early, he could of threw a running clock on the Camels if he so desired. He gained my respect last night for showing a ton of class. Mustangs are very good. Sarah Futscher was a beast down low and they ran some great half court sets to get her some great looks. Only weakness I see with lady stangs is they are not very deep, but they slow it down and don't force things, very patient team. Lady camels had good games from Kylie Kramer and Brandi Rice but this team is an absolute utter mess. I feel really bad for these girls but it helps when you play class act programs like coach Feldman and his lady stangs. :thumb:

I hate to say I told ya so and toot my own horn but I told ya so and toot, toot. I love both teams but this really don't surprise me as I stated in the prediction thread. Nice win by the lady birds and the Lady Breds will bounce back from this. Both teams are talented and very well coached. Waiting on RCC to get on here guns ablazin.

The shirts won't be worn during warm ups that I know of. It is just a statement by the 99.9% of the girls and parents to let the school know that we stand behind our coach and feel he and our daughters got a raw deal. Gotta stand up for what you believe in.

He got skipped over last year I agree. This year the complaint went to him. Believe me I'm not blaming this on the AD his hands are somewhat tied like the coaches and maybe that wasn't fair to him for me to post that, but I can tell you that the majority of the parents feel that way. Could of been squashed last year if they would of stepped in when the parents came across the gym and screamed at the coaching staff like the were dogs in front of Administration. Step in, defuse the situation and remove the parents from the gym. If the parents can't act responsible then ban them from attending games.

It should of never went past the AD. He should of handled it from the get go and it should of never went to Central Office. He's there for a paycheck and that's it. The powers to be screwed up when they made Mike Bankemper choose between wrestling coach or AD because they wouldn't let him do both. But on the flip side if anyone in your family has power positions then by all means skip the AD and go straight to the SI and ruin a guys career and the girls season. Real classy!! :no:

I think this could be a trap game for NCC. If my memory serves me right I believe they came out flat their 1st game back after the holiday tournament the last few years. While I feel NCC is the better team on paper don't cut the lady birds short. They are young but them girls can play. Would not surprise me in least bit if birds pull off the upset. If the lady birds can handle the pressure defense, shoot well and limit NCCs offensive rebounds they have a shot because the lady Breds have been known to struggle from the outside. I look for it to be a great game. Much love on both sides. :thumb:

Whether you want to admit it or not he did force Coach Murray to resign because of parents twisting facts all brought about by the lack of playing time. They didn't run to the administration screaming lack of playing time. I will say of the 3 accusations last year and the one this year the only one that holds any water is the "transporting kids". The other 3 have been twisted because the accusing knew the rules and twisted them to their advantage to smear his name. The administration thought it would be easier to force him to resign than back him, because if he was that much of a threat to the kids why is he still teaching? I'll tell you why, because there's no truth there and he's not a threat. All I keep hearing is how it's about the safety of the kids, well then why are our kids not taking a bus to these sporting events? I understand the funding cuts but don't preach about its all about the safety of the kids and have them drive to every away game and use that rule against a coach who "transports kids" especially when it's an out of town tournament during weekdays when parents are at work. Trust me I would rather have my daughter ride with Coach Murray to a game than drive herself. Coach Mike Murray is as good of a guy as you'll find, his only downfall is when he came to CCHS he didn't know anybody and didn't play the political game. He cared, mentored, and played the best players that earned it and it cost him his job. Sad

Unfortunately at CCHS yes that has and will continue to happen to teachers. Sad but the teachers feel the same as the coaches feel as far as the backing from administration. Just ask any of them. You couldn't pay me enough now a days to be a coach or a teacher. Underpaid and :poop:rolls down hill, it never stays up top where it belongs.

I agree with what you are saying but its easy to say that now after the fact. When you get blind sided by all this and put on the spot to resign or be fired, I gotta believe a lot went through his mind. Resign from coaching and he can still get a coaching job, get fired and very tough to find another coaching gig. I can promise you that where ever Coach Murray's next coaching job is at? They are getting one of the best in the buisness. His love for the kids, his passion for the game. His scouting reports are the best I've ever seen at this level. In fact they are so good several area coaches already have him scouting for them. Whoever hires him at his next coaching job will be getting a steal. :thumb:

Phone calls were made to school board members and it was brought up at the school board meeting. I will say none of the school board or administrators are saying much. They hide behind the laws, by saying by law we are not allowed to speak on it. School board is saying nothing they can do about it by law. SI saying nothing he can do by law, Once he resigns the law prohibits him from being able to reinstate him. Who's right and who's wrong? Everyone is real big and strong behind closed doors but when the voters and community get in an uproar they scatter like roaches.

It's funny you say this because the AD was nowhere in sight for this. Went straight to the super intendant and he forced the resigning. The AD should of handled this from the beginning but because the complaining family had some pull because of their status. It went straight to the SI. Sad that a school that is doing so good academically and has been getting great coaches that are making a difference in the athletics and now this black eye. Just when I felt we were making progress, this garbage happens.

Playing time is what started the witch hunt and that is a fact. They began looking for anything they could to use against him. You could find anything against a coach if u looked hard enough. What they found was a joke and did not warrant this what so ever. Not sure legally what I can put on this sight but I can PM you the exact things that they found.

They forced him to resign. He was to resign on his terms or be fired on their terms and I can tell you with first hand knowledge that it was nothing more than a witch hunt because of playing time.

I will give you all the short version. When a family wasn't happy about their daughters playing time last year and their status in the school was higher than most. They dug deep to twist things around and put it into the higher up hands. Coach Murray was forced/bullied into resigning by threatening to fire him. Really a sad situation. To do this to him, his family and these girls. SHAME ON ALL THAT HAD A CORRUPT HAND IN THIS. IT STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN. Pure horse :poop:

Lady Camels haven't had an answer since they lost their leader. Gonna be a long year without coach Murray. These girls have lost their father figure, their mentor, their rock. A guy that would give his life for these girls has been taken away from them and its not fair. I've kept my mouth shut long enough and what is happening to these girls is an absolute travesty. The Administration needs to step up and Right their wrong. This team needs their leader. Its a shame girls that have a passion for the game don't even want to play because their coach was wrongly taken from them.
