I'm going back years ago but the Executive Inn down on the river had an all u can eat prime rib buffet on Fridays/Saturdays that we crushed on a regular basis. Like I said that was years ago but worth checking on. :thumb:

Love to hear this. Your so right on what Leah brings to a team that doesn't show up in box scores. Very very unselfish player that you wish would sometimes be a little selfish, because she is just that talented. I also was skeptical on whether she could take the physicality of college basketball? And for her to be getting it done her freshman year is outstanding and proves that we as fans should just sit back and enjoy the show and leave the evaluating talent to the experts. Congrats Leah. Outstanding young lady.

These girls will play JV and dress Varsity. We lost several seniors and with some injuries already, they may log more varsity minutes than coach anticipated. Key this year is who steps up as a leader in the scoring department? If they are relying on 8th graders to carry that burden, it will be a long year for the lady camels. I don't see that happening though but only time will tell! :thumb:

As an outsider looking in, I say great job by WC for never giving up and showing a ton of heart. Definitely made things interesting. All this other hog wash is nonsense. No one likes a winner or a successful program and since Highlands has had more success than any other nky program over the last decade, it puts a big bullseye on their back. You may not like them but you have to respect them and the success they have had. Not a poster on here that would not change their schools success with Highlands success over the last decade. Amazes me how they lose a game to Elder and give up 69 points in a "Win" and people start panicking and casting stones. Only way to knock the big dog off the top of the mountain is to climb up there and face them, one on one, and knock them off. Can it be done? Absolutely, but if you climb up there, better be ready for a dog fight because they didn't get on top by claiming to be #1, they earned it. :thumb:

I would also like to give a shout out to Skinny for making the 2 hour trek to Montgomery County to cover the girls finals. :thumb: The parents and fans thank you. Now if we can just get Mr. Weber back covering high school sports on local networks.

Lady Eagles came out on fire and scored the first 12 points of game 1. The lady Camels fought back to make it interesting but Scott took game 1. Camels seemed to be in control in game 2 with a 21-16 lead but the lady Eagles fought back to win game 2, 25-23 and take a commanding 2-0 lead. Lady Camels finally kicked it into gear and cruised through game 3 to win 25-14. Camels controlled game 4 and held off a late Eagle rally to knot things up at 2-2 and force a game 5. In the 5th and deciding game the Camels trailed 13-7 but never panicked. Lady Camels scored the next 8 points to win 15-13 and once again claim the 10th region crown for the second year in a row. Congrats lady Camels and good luck at State.

Dave Faust is a class act and an outstanding coach. Anyone know how many years he has been at St. Henry?

Since we are playing silly games let me explain something to you. When a football team gets beat and is outgained in the total yards category 318-292 and on the score board, the losing team did not dominate the game. So you see, if your team would of outgained us and scored more points, your statement would hold water. And Campbell county is lacking? Hope that helps you out.

You beat us 27-16 last year, so by your standards we dominated the game, shot ourselves in the foot and you didnt beat us, we beat ourselves and we were the better team. Hahaha

Watched the game one more time tonight hellbird. Here's the totals for the game: Cooper had 292 total yards of offense Camels had 318 total yards of offense. Cooper had 6 drives, 2 punts, 2 fumbles and 2 TDs Camels had 7 drives, 2 punts, 2 TDs, 1 FG, 1 INT at your 8 yard line and ran the clock out to end the game on a drive that started at our 25 and took a knee at your 25. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't losing my mind. :ylsuper:

That's your opinion and your entitled to it about if they played again. Lets not forget that the camels shot themselves in the foot also with a couple turnovers and a couple penalties that kept the jags drive alive on 2 possessions. One which was 4th and long. I also was being nice complimenting the jags on their performance and their QB and speed of their WR's. I just chose not to say it was a dominating performance by either team (which it wasn't) I believe if they played today the Camels would win by 3+ TDs.

I was at the game, watched the game and watched the game several other times after the fact. I never used the word dominate camel defense. I said they played well after the 1st couple drives. How can I say this? EASY... they forced 2 turnovers at critical points in the game. Surrendered only 12 points and 2 of your drives continued on penalties. I never said dominating but they got the job done when it counted. Cooper couldn't stop our running game. Had a chance late in the game to stop us and make it interesting but QB Avery Wood shredded the Jags D. Hardly a dominating performance by the Jags but u keep dominating us and we'll take the W's. I'll trade that all day with you.:thumb:

I'm curious to how you can justify saying the bolded statement? When in the final score thread, you said the Camels size controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball and the Camels QB and run game could not be stopped. To say Cooper dominated that game is a mystery to me. I will say Coopers 1st drive looked easy but the Camels D played well after that. I know you all had a couple key turnovers but so did we. Guess your still bitter about the fans going on the field and the singing of our fight song. DOMINATE? Come on man! :idunno:
