I believe this win gives Fairdale the #2 seed in their district.

Total domination by the Rockets in every phase of the game. Shelby was definitely the better team and much better coached tonight. Collins had no urgency, hustle, or fight in them at all. It seems as if they've checked out for the season. Maybe they beat Valley in the playoffs. Maybe.

Final The Rockets get their first win over Collins and win the district title.

Collins is getting complely dominated. Shelby will take out all their frustration from the last couple of years tonight.

I'm pretty sure Bailey Curry (Anderson County) set the state record for home runs in a season this past year. Is that correct? She can play.

From those who have seen both teams play, it's sounding like Shelby should win this one. I hope the Titans can pull the upset!

Spencer was able to move the ball at will against Collins, however, the Titans stopped them when they needed to and would've held them to 13 points if they didn't have a complete meltdown at the end of the game. As for the Franklin game, I do think if the weather was better the Titans would've scored 40 instead of 23. They had to settle for a lot of field goals in the driving rain instead of touchdowns. That was one night where they should've been very thankful to be playing on turf instead of mud. Collins does struggle to score, they are very inconsistent on offense. I never expected a Jerry Lucas coached team to have the offensive struggles they have had. The good thing for them is the defenses in their district aren't very tough (Shelby has a solid defense though). I agree, no where near best in 4A. If they wanted to be they certainly haven't played like it this year. I also agree that no one in this district can beat South Warren. John Hardin, maybe, but I don't know if anyone can beat them either. John Hardin won't have a walk in the park, even in the first round, but I don't know if anyone from District 4 beats them.

I don't see Collins scoring 38 either. They're going to have to play good defense and create holes for Roseberry in the running game in order to win this one. I would feel a lot better about their chances if they had a better passing attack and more consistent play from their O-line, but it's been a roller coaster season for the Collins offense.

Right now Shelby has one good win vs. Spencer. Otherwise their wins have come against very weak competition. Also, if the Rockets beat Collins you can argue the Titans really aren't deserving of a Top 10 spot anyway. I don't think they move up with a win over Collins.

The good thing is they will be either 2 or 3. It's looking like either Franklin or Shelby will be the 4 seed.

After the top 3-4, it's not all that strong. Collins has been really inconsistent, partly due to their youth, but I think their strength of schedule is what has put them at the #10 spot. And their impressive win against Franklin County. I could definitely understand ranking Wayne over Collins, even with their weak schedule, but who else would be deserving of that spot?

The 23-0 win over Franklin County may have something to do with it. But I do get your point.

North Oldham (3-6, 0-3) travels to Franklin County (6-2, 1-2) to battle for a spot in the playoffs. The winner gets in and the loser stays at home. Will the Mustangs miss the playoffs for the first time since 2006? Or will the Flyers be left out for the first time since 2009?

Should be a great crowd for this one. However, SCPS is on Fall Break this week so that may keep a few away. It's always good to see both schools having success. There is no shortage of speed on either team.

That's right, assuming Franklin beats North Oldham. (I will be shocked if they don't.) So basically Shelby will be playing for 1st or 4th.
