North Oldham (3-6, 0-3) travels to Franklin County (6-2, 1-2) to battle for a spot in the playoffs. The winner gets in and the loser stays at home.

Will the Mustangs miss the playoffs for the first time since 2006? Or will the Flyers be left out for the first time since 2009?

It's come down to this for two teams locked in the state's toughest district. The loser of this game will miss the playoffs. Franklin County is currently 1-2 while North Oldham is a winless 0-3. Every other team in the district has at least two district wins, meaning Franklin County is in with a win as is North Oldham, which would hold the head to head tiebreaker over Franklin County. For North Oldham, it would be a long, but understandable fall from last year's state semifinal finish that was a heartbreaker away from a state final. Graduation took them down several notches. For Franklin County, it would be a much farther fall from where they were earlier in the season. They got out to a 6-0 start and appeared to be in the district's driver seat before a stunning loss to Collins was followed up by falling to Spencer County. Who gets left out of the playoffs?

North is left out. All eyes will be on shelbyville. Shelbys win Franklin 4th. Collins win, finish 3rd

Big Game's in District 4 this Friday! Franklin County will have two weeks to prepare for North Oldham. They have also had two weeks to get healthy again. Does anybody have any idea who will play who in the state paring?

If you're talking playoffs the 4th seed in this district will play John Hardin barring Western pulling off a huge upset.

A lot riding on this game. Hard to believe a loss and the Flyers wont make the playoffs.

I say Flyers win big!

Who does the 3 seed get? I am not sure if Collins will beat Shelby or not. If they do and FC wins then FC would be the 3 seed.

Shelby win and the district goes

1- Shelby

2- Spencer

3- Colllins

4- Franklin

Collins Win

1- Spencer

2- Collins

3 - Franklin

4- Shelby

So everyone in the district is pulling for Collins

The pairings in those situations will most likely be (assuming a Franklin win):

Shelby County win:

(1) Shelby County vs. (4) Breckinridge County

(2) Valley vs. (3) Collins

(2) Spencer County vs. (3) Western

(1) John Hardin vs. (4) Franklin County

Collins win:

(1) Spencer County vs. (4) Breckinridge County

(2) Valley vs. (3) Franklin County

(2) Collins vs. (3) Western

(1) John Hardin vs. (4) Shelby County

Now if North Oldham wins and Shelby County wins...

1. Shelby County

2. Spencer County

3. Collins

4. North Oldham

If North Oldham wins and Collins wins...

1. Spencer County

2. Collins

3. Shelby County

4. North Oldham

This will be one heck of a region battle for everyone.

Anyone of the teams in this district can beat each other on any given night. It's going to be fun to watch to see who moves on in the playoffs!

Depends on which FCHS team shows up??? Will It be: the interested, fast one, the bored slow one, or could it be the Frustrated and penalized one?? If the right team shows up it will be over fast Friday that fast one can really play....and we may have a shot to make some play off noise. If not I think anyone can beat the Flyers..:sssh:

No, not really. Been the worst year I have seen at FCHS for injuries in a long time. This year seems like Depth is as weak as I can remember.
