Spencer County finishes district play with a 3-1 record. 2nd is the worst they can finish in the district. Shelby County can win the district by doing something they have never done before, beat their crosstown rival Collins. A Titan victory next week gives Spencer the 1 seed, Collins the 2 seed, and Shelby the 3 seed.

That's right, assuming Franklin beats North Oldham. (I will be shocked if they don't.) So basically Shelby will be playing for 1st or 4th.

The Bears didn't play their best, but give Shelby a lot of credit they are a very good team. They have given the community a lot to rally behind. They have a bye week that coincides with their fall break. I fully expect them to come back refreshed and firing on all cylinders on October 30th. You are correct the Rockets are solid but that district will wear you down. Lets see how they close district play out next week. I think it will be a tight one, the Rockets need to get over the mental roadblock.
