Final

The Rockets get their first win over Collins and win the district title.

Total domination by the Rockets in every phase of the game. Shelby was definitely the better team and much better coached tonight. Collins had no urgency, hustle, or fight in them at all. It seems as if they've checked out for the season. Maybe they beat Valley in the playoffs. Maybe.

Final District 4 Standings:

1. Shelby County (3-1)

2. Spencer County (3-1)

3. Collins (2-2)

4. Franklin County (2-2)

Uh, whoa.

Uh, whoa.

They are good. Collins, despite the rankings, are not.

Unofficial stats from last night..

Collins 73 yds total offense.

JR Lucas 5 For 10 35 yds and a INTS

Shelby 424 yds of Total offense

340 yds Rushing

Malik Manica 17 touches for 210 yds

He's only played in 8 of the 9 Games for Shelby and Surpasses 1,000 yds on the season.

Tyler Drane 4 for 7 for 84 yds and a TD Passing!

Congrats to Shelby.

Final District 4 Standings:

1. Shelby County (3-1)

2. Spencer County (3-1)

3. Collins (2-2)

4. Franklin County (2-2)

One tough district! Curious to see how Franklin/John Hardin game turns out!

It wouldn't surprise me if district 4 swept the first round.

Shocked by the score of this game. Shelby is playing great football. When Rosebury went out for Collins, game was over.

These same 2 could meet again week 2 of playoffs.

Nkt so sure we should talk about how bad Collins is playing rather how good shelby is playing. Their D is darn good.

It would shock me because I think district 4 is completely overrated. How does a team like Collins even make the playoffs.

Really? I'm not. It's going to be a blowout.

I agree with you Hoss JH WINS THAT REGION

Collins played with absolutely no intensity at all on either side of the ball. 23 Stucker and 20 Harrod both are the heart of that defense and it showed last night. Roseberry going out killed the Titans and they lost all fight in them. The Rockets are not 44 points better than the Titans and when Roseberry Stucker and Harrod are on that field in the second round matchup I promise it will be a different game despite what anyone says.

You'll have to beat Valley first.

the scariest part of all this is 29 Eades who leads the Titans in tackles is a sophomore. Roseberry is a sophomore. Stucker is a sophomore. Jr Lucas the struggling Titan quarterback is a sophomore who is having an off season. Once Jr matures and plays like the dual threat talented quarterback everyone knows he can be I would watch out for the Titans and that class of 2018. I'll be very suprised if they don't absolutely dominate teams when they're seniors
