I'd say with going KHSAA, job may become more than what former coaches could or wanted to do. Possible they may not have meet KHSAA qualifications for para- professional too, I don't know. We have played them many times in the past but haven't played their varsity team in a couple of years.

They have had a basketball program for years but are just joining the KHSAA, have played in the KCSAA and/or KCAA in the past.

Ended up going to bed and let it cook overnight. For some reason is stalled out at 190 deg, not quite hot enough for a good pull, so I wrapped it, put in fridge, went to work and when I got home I took it out and sliced it instead it pulling. I then warmed it up in the oven and oh man was it good. I have come up with a new mustard base I'm using to rub it down with before I apply the spice rub... and I'm really liking it.

I have smoked and grilled some over the winter but didn't post anything. have a 7 pound pork butt thawed out ready to go, and have a hankering for ribs.

Several years ago pre knee problems and hip replacement, I am still balling and playing pretty well. My men's team was playing an open league at Falling Springs in Georgetown, and a team petitioned the league to allow a woman former WNBA player (started) and WKU grad to play. League allowed it. Long story short, the Cov Cath guards would have eaten her alive. I think that example speaks volumes.

I want to see stats, shooting percentage and number of 3s SO hit...I'm guessing 17 but could have been more. I think they played their perfect ball game. As an AC fan good gosh it was frustrating to watch everything SO shot go in.

3rd straight actually. Defense and rebounding the theme of the night.

They will need to play with the same fire and intensity they showed last night, but game execution will need to be better. Lot of empty trips last night that can't happen Friday night, but they are capable of getting a W.

Anderson didn't play particularly well, as a matter of fact played very sloppy at times, but they played HARD and played with a fire I had not seen from them this year. That was the difference for them tonight I thought.

Anderson and Spencer might be just as good.

Hey we were getting beat by 30 Friday night and with 3 minutes left in the game the other team was still pressing us. I just looked at my assistant coach and made the comment that we need to work on our press break anyway and shrugged it off. Would I do that to another team? No. Is that bad form/sportsmanship? I'd say so. What can you do? Learn from it and move on, not much else you can do,

Christian has a medical condition that affected him tonight. He's ok but it greatly limited him in the 2nd half.

What? That's a head scratcher of a score.

I wasn't there so I don't know the exact circumstances, but, it's always been sort of an "unwritten rule" that when have have someone down that big, you quit launching 3s, and run through your sets. Me personally I tell my kids after several passes have been made to shoot nothing but midrange jumpers.

26-25 AC at half. AC playing better than they have been. Good game.

I don't know whats going on...the AC kids are better than this, but last night for whatever reason I just didn't see a lot of fire and passion. This game HAS to be played like every possession is the most important, and every defensive trip is the most important...unless or until the coach tells you to relax and back off. I'm not seeing that. I'm sure Coach Drury and the rest of the staff are racking their brains trying to figure this thing out. I've been in the same situation and it isn't easy. Lot of good kids on this team, I know most of them and have coached a number of them. I sure hope they can get things figured out and start playing to the teams potential. If they can, they will be as dangerous as anyone come tournament time.

Seriously? Ummmm...NO!

As bad as AC played last night...and it wasn't pretty, if they do what is expected of EVERY team...defensive rebound and hit your point blank shots at the rim, then this is a different game. But, they didn't, and give Spencer County credit for their hustle. They also seemed to hit big 3's just when you thought AC might be putting a little run together. AC also, as mentioned above had a difficult time staying in front of Spencer on the defensive side of the ball. They got to shore that up. And rebounding has GOT to get better.

AC can't buy a stinking basket at the rim.
