It's actually well written from the perspective of how much pressure that team was under (because they gave the game away vs. Catholic by Guyn taking a horrendous shot up 1 with 30 seconds or so to go). What I would have liked to have seen is the author go into greater detail about the transfers. He touches on it but does not go in depth. A must read being as passionate as you are about high school basketball. Easy read as well.

He rarely goes into the paint so no real surprise there.

PRP was very deliberate on offense. Is this that shocking? Last year BE made a 30 ft at the buzzer to beat PRP and win the region.

He also led the 11th region in turnovers. As a pg this cannot happen. Harville is a solid player but what position will he play at the next level? If he plays at the next level. No slam on the kid but just simple questions. His more natural position is the sg, not pg.

They will be more balanced but will miss Whitman. Have 4 or 5 solid sophomores so yea, I'd say that is a pretty strong nucelus.

Why did Fleming not foul up 3 with 7.7 left? If they had a foul to give, burn one in backcourt and then another to get them to the line. Almost got them beat.

No Johnson = no chance. Catholic will be one of the favorites next season with a strong nucleus returning.

Yes...unfortunately they are that bad. However, no Ryan Timmons, Logan Woodside or Casey Tabor hurt any chance they had to be competitive.

Agreed. Can't believe this thread is still going. Coach O'Hearn is a great coach with a state title. If they are not complaining about you then you're not doing your job!

Southwestern will make a return trip to Rupp...IMO.

Agree with lack of schedule strength. However, when a program has struggled as Grant County has in recent years they must learn to win. As kids get used to Coach Hicks' system and winning, the schedule strength can increase.

Don't underestimate the Cordia Canadians!!!!

No one in the region could have beaten SC the way the guards shot the ball. They put on a shooting clinic.
