Won't happen. Classes kill rivalries which kill crowds. Couldn't afford Rupp. If you think any different you obviously have not experienced classes. Check football crowds.

Augusta just doesn't have enough to win the region. Bach is a great player but not enough supporting cast. After this year I would assume that Augusta takes a huge step backwards in the 10th.

Blind draws are stupid...plain and simple. It makes the regular season useless. If you have two 20 win teams vs. two 5 win seasons, no way should the two 20 win teams have to play each other to move on. Why play district games at all if no seeding?

Scott Co will win this district..again. The big game will be Station vs. Henry Clay. The district is at Station. Hopefully Jordan Green will get the ok to play before then. If not, I see Station winning that one.

So you are telling me that you take the summer serious? Summer is nothing more than getting experience. One cannot base an upcoming season on what happens during the summer. Example...as you said...close game vs. Scott Co in the summer? A few months later down 38 in less than 15 minutes. I wish you well but one cannot fix team chemistry issues.

Lafayette is one bad shooting night against a zone in the playoffs for an early exit. They really struggle against zones. They aren't great shooters but Davis can carry them if he stays out of foul trouble.

Pre season #5...way too high...team won 8 games last year. Sitting at 10-9 with 5 of those wins agasint Woodford (2), Frankfort (2) and Western Hills. Not at all trying to bash FC but just because kids return doesn't necessarily mean succes.

Yes...during warm ups. They had to move the game to Western Hills.

IMO...I said early in the year the Flyers were getting love from everyone and they just weren't very good. An injury here and there hasn't helped but anyone who has seen them play can see they have team dynamic issues. They were down 38 in the first half...at home...they will be one and done in the regional tournament. They will make it to the region simply by default.

They have little to no inside production. Mason is a bad matchup for them. Also, Mason I'm sure looked to exploit that matchup issue. Coach O'Hearn is one of the best around.

The word is his dad wants division one or else. I'm not sure that will happen but it doesn't need to. Gilbert shoots it too well not to play somewhere for free.

As I have said earlier, IMO, he doesn't have much help. If teams, like Scott Co did Friday night, force Lane to handle it and make decisions the others do not make shots consistently. If Davis gets into foul trouble, which he is prone to do, and they go cold, they could make an early exit. There is lots of youth at the guard position and if their pg plays like he did Friday night (6 assists, rebounds and steals on 2-8 shooting with 7 turnovers), it is a recipe for disaster. If they get the ball to Davis, who most certainly will be a candidate for Mr. Basketball and a first team all stater, then they will be dangerous. Late Friday they forgot about Davis and had the wrong guys taking shots. When you have a stallion you ride him into the sunset.

It will be interesting where he goes next year. The kid can score but he plays in a system where is allowed to take some "questionable" shots. Questionable as in at the next level, most coaches will not allow him to take those. IMO he will not play the pg at the next level. He is having a first team all state kind of year and is fun to watch.

They don't seem to make him a high priority on offense.

Good officials are preventitive. Guarantee that kid didn't know the rule. Everything isn't black and white. When a kid is in the lane, do refs tell them to get out if they camp out? Yes. If two kids are going at it on the block do refs tell them to clean it up? Yes. This is no different.
