First, congrats to Cov Cath. Job well done and why you play a full 32 minutes. Second, when your region only has 3 state titles not sure it came home. With that being said, the 9th region has finally seen the light. You don't get much better playing the same teams in your area over and over. A team must play more athletic teams and that has paid off.

KCC is in disparate need of a pg and a second shooter. Justice is having to do too much. Only one more shot at it....

Game wasn't really that close. Wayne co went cold but played a region strong schedule. Wayne could not guard MC. Maybe a little tougher schedule would help.

I know the attention he is getting is great for him. I sure hope he makes a decision where he can play. I believe he will struggle, at least initially, at the next level because he will not be allowed to do the things he's allowed to do playing for Coach Hicks. He will have to play off the ball and handle it more as a pg. There are very few 6'0 shooting guards anywhere in college. Best of luck to him.

First, JC does absolutely nothing to get the two bigs the ball. They just play...which is why they will get dusted Friday by Scott Co. Second, everyone seems to be talking about the last 10 seconds or so. IMO the turning point of the game was when CC took a needless timeout with 5 mins left in the 3rd quarter. A CC was even attacking the basket which would have given them a 10 point lead. Out of the timeout, they turn it over and JC hits a 3. Now a 5 point game and the game was never the same after.

That reason is one Mr. Brent Bach.

Which might explain a major reason for their lack of succes.

Is there more to the story or does the administration have an agenda? Very surprised by this to say the least.

Not sure why the hostilities. It seems obvious what is and has happened over there in the past couple of years. It makes them very hard to root for. Some might even say justice has been served.

Everyone wants to talk about the fifth foul. I agree it was not a very good call. However, Green's fourth foul was far worse than his fifth. By rule, he was in legal guarding position even though he was moving back.

Possession has to be established on an inbounds pass before it can be over and back. If there is a loose ball during play, it is the last team to touch it that determines whether it is over and back. Missed the call.

What mark is that? Winning games? When they split didn't most, if not all, of the premier athletes jump ship to Collins? 88-35 is impressive but no regional titles with arguably the best talent in the region at least the past three years. It would seem to me, since the Superintendent put all of his eggs in the Collins basket, that at some point Coach Gaither needs to get to Rupp or a change might be coming.

Agree 100%. IMO an assistant coach should never vote for a varsity coach of the year. Whether that be district, region, or statewide.

Man...most people talk trash when they win. Not after you go 1-2 in the post season. 49 fts? Maybe they should quit fouling. Recipe for disaster is what that is and was. Fourth best team in that region and that is exactly how it played out.

Almost won the state tournament? Didn't win the district. Didn't win a game in the region. Saw him at Christmas tournament at Lexington Catholic. IMO...not convinced they could have won the region but enjoy your Cordia kool aid.

Davis seems like a great kid. However, not showing up to receive the POY award looks bad. With that being said, we obviously do not know what other things might have been going on. My interpretation of BB was it looks like they are sore losers for not showing up. They were the only two not there to get their award.

A great career. He is one of the all time best and basketball isn't even his best sport. Best of luck to him!

I'm going to say Scott Co...in the district final, which was at HC, Coach Hicks got a T, Teddy Ware shot 3-15 and Gilbert was 9-21. With all that said, SC still had the ball down 1 with under 20 seconds to go. I fully expect HC to get a better result from SC this time. SC 65-58.
