Who do you like, by how much, and why?

The Cardinals will be without PG Matt Murray, who was ejected from the Lexington Catholic game.

This one is too tough to call for me. Scott County looked like a team on a mission as they dismantled Madison Central yesterday while Henry Clay played some smooth basketball to earn their way into the final. Henry Clay are coming good at just the right time and you can always throw out past meetings in playoff games. I can see this one going down to the buzzer, possibly even overtime ball too.

This should be a war! Hope the officials don't make it another foul fest. These 16 region officials have been poor at best throughout the entire boys & girls 11th region tourneys!

I had one official during the Dunbar v Henry Clay girls game that I swear looked to see where I was sitting and made a beeline for the spot right in front of me. He must have been in my frame about 75% of the time. I ended up moving from wide on the baseline to right under the basket to get my shots.

Henry Clay is on a roll right now and it's dangerous to pick against a team and a player (Jordan Green) that is playing really well. However, Scott County has size, toughness and experience on their side (and a pretty good player in Trent Gilbert as well), so Scott County wins by 8.

Rooting for Henry Clay if for no other reason then I am a Blue Devils alum (from a different school in Ohio)

As much as I love Trent Gilbert I would absolutely love to see Jordan Green lead Henry Clay to Rupp after losing Christian Cunningham, Trey Grundy and Teddy Ware before the season started. That would be one hell of a story. Either way, I won't be disappointed with whoever represents the 11th. Between Green, Gilbert and Davis I think all basketball fans would be satisfied with whichever team makes it to Rupp from the 11th.

Listening to the broadcast last night the announcers were talking about how Henry Clay turned the corner after Green got hurt as teh whole team got more experience as a whole and they have played much better since his injury. They also talked about how Jordan green has grown exponentially into a leadership role after losing those 3 players that I mentioned. I absolutely want to see Henry Clasy at Rupp Arena next week.

Plus they are Blue Devils.

Good luck, Blue Devils!!!!

Sorry I can't cheer on a team that has the DEVIL for a mascot. Go Cardinals!!!

Scott Co. 68-60.

Guess we all have our reasons.

I'm going to say Scott Co...in the district final, which was at HC, Coach Hicks got a T, Teddy Ware shot 3-15 and Gilbert was 9-21. With all that said, SC still had the ball down 1 with under 20 seconds to go. I fully expect HC to get a better result from SC this time. SC 65-58.

I am planning to be at this game. Looking forward to watching Green and Gilbert.
