Sounded like a great game.

Wow, big time win for South.

Listened to the end of the 4th quarter and all of overtime on the radio. Collins announcers said should of been a foul called on last 3 in overtime. Anyone that was at the game can comment on this?

It was hard to tell because the ball was shot from the corner but it looked awfully close to a foul to me. I thought that a foul was called on the Collins rebound with 2 seconds left but the referees gave Collins a timeout instead. Collins sure had their chances to win at the end of regulation and 3 times in OT with a shot that barely missed, a tip shot that came back out and the 3 in the corner after the inbounds. The Titans just couldn't get the ball to bounce their way at the end of the game.

There was contact, not many refs make that call at the buzzer.

Congrats to Coach Simpson and South Oldham. Felt Collins might be ripe for the pickin', so to speak, after the Grant County game.

The members of the Collins senior class finished their careers with a record of 88-35 in the first 4 years of the school. It didn't end the way they wanted to, but they have certainly left their mark on Titan basketball, including a school record 25 wins this season.

What mark is that? Winning games? When they split didn't most, if not all, of the premier athletes jump ship to Collins? 88-35 is impressive but no regional titles with arguably the best talent in the region at least the past three years. It would seem to me, since the Superintendent put all of his eggs in the Collins basket, that at some point Coach Gaither needs to get to Rupp or a change might be coming.

I believe there was contact and a foul would have been called 2 minutes earlier. It wasn't huge contact but a foul is a foul is a....well, you get my point. No discussion of the time out late by Collins being granted? The South folks got heated over that one.
