I personally believe John Hardin is the 3rd best team in 4A right now. They've lost to SW, PRP, and CH. I know nothing about Johnson Central but every other 4A team would have lost those games also.

Trinity will win this but I was very impressed by PRP. I wonder if they can make it respectable.

By the end of the year I think they will be. Who is going to beat them.

I remember 2 years ago they were down to John Hardin 28-7 with around 7 minutes left in the game. They drove down the field and scored but the problem was it took them over 6 minutes to do so. Not a big fan of their veer offense especially when they are trailing.

South Warren would crush PRP also.

Bullitt East has a lot of talent in their Sophomore class. As freshman last year their only loss was to John Hardin, and it was a close game. I know very little about Bullitt East but after this year they should be ok.

I could be wrong (and it wouldn't be the first time) but I don't recall Meade playing many backups that game. It was a dog fight and it easily could have gone either way. Regardless, North is better than last year and Meade is not as good. But that's a long ways off so who knows at this point.

I think Central Hardin is better than Spencer County. I also think we will learn how good PRP really is this week and I don't think they will beat John Hardin. Supposedly the 6'7" 315 pound transfer will finally get to play this week for John and folks are saying he is a player. We will find out on Friday.

And the best part is all of John's backs and skill positions are Sophomores and Juniors. I will also add that while JH does not throw it much, they are more than capable of doing so and they will usually get 1-2 TDs each game passing the ball.

North and Meade play later this year and I will pick North to win that game. They gave Meade fits last year with their speed and athleticism and Meade is no where near were they were last year.

I'll take John's opponents over who PRP has played any day. Valley, Doss, and a Meade County team who lost everyone to graduation. And I'm pretty confident PRP's speed on defense can't match the speed of Warren Central or North Hardin.

Supposedly PRP is loaded this year but John has faced better competition. I'll take my Bulldogs because PRP won't be able to stop the running game.

This one's going to be interesting but at this point I have to go with South Warren.

Going with North Hardin. Their two losses are to two good teams.

John should beat PRP. I don't care how "loaded" they are. CH will beat John for one more year before the tide turns.

Big win for John and very important for their confidence. The 6'7" 315 pound transfer should see his first action next week so their D line should be bolstered quite a bit. JH could very well win 2 out of their next 3 games before going into district play.
