Next year is not JH's best team. They are loaded in 2016-17. The only class even close to the 2011 team is the 2017 team, unless some key players end up moving out of the area.

They could have last year also.

Going with John Hardin in this one, mainly because I am a homer. I know nothing about Graves County, other than they have a good RB and are very physical. JH has played several very physical teams so they should be able to handle that.

Man I am tired of picking against Meade. I thought they would lose the last two weeks and they continue to impress me. Once again, I will pick Trinity, but they will have to earn this one. I do think Meade's one weakness is passing the ball, but then again, they really haven't had to pass the ball much this year.

Good win for John Hardin. Lots of work to do for next week.

This will be a tough, hard fought game between two even teams but I think (hope) John Hardin is slightly better and will pull it out.

Both of these teams have the "IT" factor. Just look at the way Meade beat Henry Clay and Scott County as well as how Central Hardin beat Bryan Station. Bottom line is that these are two great teams that will play a very close game on Friday and it will be fun to watch.

Unless a bunch of the kids move, that will be JH's strongest team ever if they progress like I think they will.

I would have to agree with pretty much everything you have said. I still hope JH gets one more crack at BG before we move down to 4A.

Great. Thanks for the rundown. The 2011 BG team was a phenomenal defense when they played us so it is hard to believe anyone is better than them. If we get past Iroquois then I will start worrying about you guys.

This type of comment is exactly why I wish John Hardin was staying in 5A. I will take JH over anyone in 2016 and especially in 2017.

It was said they weren't in their league last year and look at what happened. Not looking ahead, but if we limit turnovers we can compete with anyone in 5A. Not saying we will, but we certainly can.
