Are we headed for a showdown between Johnson Central and South Warren? Or, will Ashland be able to knock off their district rival, twice? Can John Hardin stop South Warren? Who belongs at the top? Who will fall out of the top 10 soon?

I think it will be Johnson Central v. South Warren, but if I was going to pick a darkhorse I'm really interested to see what Scott can do.

Way too early and a lot of games still to play. I don't see anyone over powering anyone at this time. Surprised spencer Co. Hasn't moved up further. District 4 could/should have 5 teams in top 5.

I agree. Noone has seemed to be concerned with Scott . All I hear is the talk of the same couple of teams . Scott could surprise a few that are to busy looking at the trophy case instead of a hungry team from Taylormill. This group is a special group of athletes. The potential is through the roof this season ! Scott is playing with confidence .

I am going to go ahead and call it...South Warren will be 4a State champions this year. DT1906 will agree!!!!

You guys talk like you are from fort thomas.

Flyers have a nice shot at making the Semi-Finals

What does their road to the Semis look like?

Not sure, they were 5A, moving down to 4A they might see Bourbon County, Scott, Collins -- not for sure yet

Franklin County is in a tough region, but as of the current rankings would be considered the favorite. They have their district to contend with, which has Collins and Shelby County (both ranked), North Oldham (was ranked), and Spencer County (undefeated). Opposite them is really only John Hardin, who they'd see in the finals as long as they take care of business in district play. All in all, you figure first round is a walk, followed by a tough district opponent (for argument's sake let's say Shelby County or North Oldham - either will probably be ranked), and then whoever survives John Hardin and the district #2 seed (probably Collins if Franklin County is #1 ). A lot rides on winning the district, because you don't want to go to John Hardin in the second round.

But in any case, it's a step up from where coming into the year people predicted that John Hardin was a sure thing in that region.

John Hardin is a far cry from being a lock to win region 2

4a seems really weak.

John Hardin is a far cry from being a lock to win region 2

District 4 teams are probably ranked 2-6 but I think JH is clearly the best team in Region 2.

By the end of the year I think they will be. Who is going to beat them.
