How did cc win their pool if Connor beat them?

Campbell Co is at 16 going into tonights senior night with Dixie:( These girls NEED to be playing more...more outside teams and tournys would do anybody alot of good:) JMHO

Pretty impressed with Bourbons pitching, catching and hitting! Hope the first baseman that took that throw to the chest was OK:( Camels just weren't firing on all pistons this past week...sigh... maybe we will get to play this week, maybe not. Sure shook things up for the district standings....

Where did you get the game times? Originally we were to play bourbon and Scott...now we don't know?

It was the usual cold and wind up on the hill:) I thought Harrison hit well (home run in the first inning I believe) and played good defense...good ball game. CC has some really nice hits and some really nice defensive plays to bring home the win. Overall good start to the year with alot of players in new positions, worked out well:)

You can rent the entire turf area:)

Nice facility, nice people! We have one practicing volleyball there and another using the batting cages and pitching tunnel. So convenient;)

That is the first thing every cchs or ccms coach says at the parent meeting...we have been through three girls and three sports...we will not discuss playing time....guess what? The parents with certain names that complain the most have the kids on the starting lineup....I have seen it hundreds of times regardless of talent. Sad.

Did most of NKY naturals move to static, or what?? Just curious, I know most were close to aging out of 16U...

OK. call me stupid, I know nothing about this, trying to learn...but why aren't all NKY schools included in this? And not just CCHS, I see others not there. Is this another thing you pay to be a part of? Like I said, not complaining, just curious, really, to how this works:)

Please tell me the differences between NKUs Individual camp and their offensive and defensive specialty camps? We've only done pitching before, so totally clueless:) Just assuming offense would be hitting and baserunning and defense would be ANY position other than P/C and individual would be all this in one day, more general?? I'm thinking offense/defense may be the best bet?

I wasn't saying she shouldn't play in the game...I just feel bad when kids have to miss these things due to school sports/activity conflicts...I know my middle DD would shoot me if I went to the game tomorrow instead of her graduation night...luckily, or unluckily, oldest dd is benchwarming fo CC, made the choice an easy one for us....it always gets interesting when you have three girls with three different activities:)

Feel bad for our eighth grader...does she play or Attend her graduation????

Wow! Why would you pitch your #3 pitcher?? Our #2 has sat the bench ever since our last match up with bracken...they must have been counting on an easy win??? Congrats to B and Allison:)

Is this association a ninth region thing? I don't see anyone from any 10th region or other region? Just curious as I know jack squat about all this..trying to learn:)

WE have gotten an inch so far...this stinks! Would have been my dd's last game since she doesn't pitch varsity anymore this year:meh: Wish we could make up some games, but when we do, they make them varsity only:( I'm really starting to dislike HS ball, hoping we can find a summer ball team and make up some lost ground:eek:

Two of the girls mentioned that the ump said that the catcher and pitcher were not allowed to talk to each other? What was that all about? They hit really well against us last week too:eek: Looks like no game for us against HC tonight...dang weather:sour:

OH, I did just that:) They just made a point that they hoped they met again in the regionals and that would be a great game...haven't been to a single game in the last ten years of watching fastpitch that the umps didn't have questionable calls:eyeonyou: They weren't snarky about it at all...even asked my dd how her game went and wished CC good luck. My only complaint about BBHS is the lack of scoreboard at the new field...we parents had a heck of a time remembering where we were at in the game! LOL Like I said, congrats to the Stangs, I consider it a very big win:)

Wasn't at the game, but me and DD ran into some of the Nic players at a resturant and they were NOT happy with the umpiring:) Watch out if Brossart meets them in the regionals, it will be "game on" Congrats to the Lady Stangs...very big win!
