I would say upset. I was told Brandi Rice hit 2 out and Allison Franzen hit 1 out. I am not sure anything else.

Did Bracken's #1 pitcher pitch? Just asking bc HC's coach doesn't start their number 1 in big games. If she did and she wasn't hurt this is a very nice showing by CC.

 

I was thinking about saying how I thought this is the worse year ever for the 37th and they both win a game in the region, go figure.

After hearing the draw,thought BC would win this one and maybe another. Anyone with details?

Campbell crushed the ball in late innings. They put up an 8 spot in the 7th. Rice went yard twice. They played really well. Have to give them tons of credit.

 

Bracken was horrendous. Too many free passes issued and at the plate, they didn't make Campbell's pitcher work at all. She threw 11 pitches total in the 5th and 6th innings. And the first two of those 11 pitches were in the dirt for balls. So the Campbell pitcher, after those first two balls, needed only 9 pitches to record 6 outs. I love my Lady Bears but that isn't smart softball.

 

All in all, though, Bracken had a pretty solid season. Unfortunate to end it this way.

I was talking with some guys at the game, wondering when the last time was that the 37th had two teams in the semi-finals?
